A must tour for your first time in Porto!! Not to be missed!!

A fantastic tour to take when you arrive in Porto!! This tour was an extensive, tasty and delightful way to get a most informative introduction to the city & to Portuguese culture - history, sports, our surroundings & for our personal purposes as well, the yummy dishes & food products that are an important part of the Portuguese economy & eating. Our guide Angelo was wonderful. He was enthusiastic, full of tremendous knowledge & most personable. He made sure we saw, visited & tasted many hidden gems in the city. We had many wonderful photo opportunities for future memories! A tour not to be missed! We would do it all over again! Many thanks Angelo. You were terrific! The 6 appreciative Canadians

Great food and wine .

Helena our guide was excellent. She was so knowledgeable and had a lovely friendly approach. She really made it. We spent 3hrs + talking bout the city, the food and the culture. The food was also excellent, the perfect amount over a number of venues that u would not normally find. And few beers, wines and ports along the way helped also 😀

Food with Ana!!

This tour was wonderful! There were 4 of us (2 couples) and our guide was Ana. Ana has a true passion for Porto and really wanted to show us where the locals eat (and what they eat). Our first stop was a nice shop of traditional food and wine. We went to the back where it opened up to a nice garden and had "Romeo & Juliette" which was cheese and quince...what a great start!! We then moved on to several other tastings of food and of course wine! All did not disappoint! We loved how Ana went with the flow with us and not every stopped was planned, very personalized. She had a great connection with my brother-in-law as he did food walking tours in Maine (US). We ended the day at a bar called Base (right at the Clérigos Tower) where you sit outside and enjoy the bells from the tower and refreshing cocktails/wine. We went back there several times!! We cannot say enough great things about Ana, she really made the afternoon very special!!

A worthwhile expense

Angelo was awesome, the food was good and trying local places made it a quality experience. He also spoke about the art and architecture in the area which were right up our alley. Really worth doing but recommend it for right when you arrive so you get a good overview of the city.
