What To Expect
Your day of exploration of Fátima begins with hotel pickup in the morning. Via comfortable tour vehicle, transfer to the Sanctuary of Fátima, where you can visit the enormous oak tree where the Marian apparitions are said to have appeared. Visit the homes of the little shepherd children to whom the visions appeared and learn about their lives. Have a look around the Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Apparitions Chapel, as well as see a part of the Berlin Wall that found its home at this religious site. Depart for Nazaré, where the world record for highest wave ever surfed was set. Find a beachside restaurant to have lunch (own expense) while watching the giant waves crash along the coast, then visit the Sítio da Nazar and the Our Lady of Nazaré Sanctuary. After 2 hours in Nazaré, continue to the quaint village of Óbidos, where you can explore the walled city and taste the local liqueur called Ginja d’Óbidos. Spend about 1.5 hours there before transferring back to your Fátima hotel for drop-off.

Eddie, our tour guy, was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, funny, and very entertaining. I'm not a religious person myself so I just wanted to see these places and I was surprised how gorgeous the views were. For me it was more of the views. If you're an Portugal this place is a must!!!!
