We set out to learn a whole lot more than we were familiar with on the Half Day Terezin Tour. As stated in the title, this is sadly a tour that we felt we needed to take, because one can never forget the atrocities the the Jews of Prague and all of Europe experienced at the hands of madmen. This is a tour that as sad as it was, was well worth our time. We were picked up in a small car at our hotel, on time, transferred to a small van( given a bottle of water) where we joined about 10 other people for a small group tour. Our guide spoke to us the entire way, giving us information about Prague and some background history. Upon arrival we met up with a different guide that showed us around Terezin. Although we did not care for her as much as our first guide, she was adequate, After the "camp" tour, we were shown a short movie, which was pretty unimpressive. We had a short break and were then back with our original guide to complete the tour of the town. Our van returned to town and dropped us off at our hotels.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Although visiting a concentration camp is, in many ways, heartbreaking, it was an enlighing experience.

We were incredibly disappointed with this tour. Not only was the bus late for picking us up, but the tour guide Andre glasses with a ponytail was absolutely awful. He mumbled random facts during the bus tour that were pretty irrelevant and ditched the group when we went inside the complex and the museum. We were scolded by another tour guide for listening in because she's not getting paid to guide us. We paid for someone to walk through Terezin with us and explain the story and answer questions, but he turned us loose, said be back in 30 minutes and sat on the bus. I'm confident our experience would have been better if we had a competent guide. We were all looking forward to learning about this somber place and instead we were finding ourselves just wanting the tour to end. Wish we could get the time and money back.

The guide at Terezin, who is employed by the venue was terrific. The tour company who organized the hotel pickup and transport to Terezin was not good. The hotel pickup driver was erratic and the

What an informative tour! It was a great day and our guide was wonderful, sharing some of the local history on our way to and from Terezin. There was a second guide who took us through part of the buildings, and she was very informative and helpful in explaining the tragic history of Terezin and how it was involved in the movement of people to extermination camps. Highly recommend this tour as it provided great information in a small amount of time.

Booked last minute the evening before. We were picked up at our hotel on time and the entire experience was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable guide, clean, comfortable bus which was equipped with bottles of water and even Wifi. Highly recommended!

Picked up on time by clean bus, swapped buses at a concourse and got on our way with only 3 of us on the tour. I was impressed that they went ahead with the tour with only 3 of us on the bus, we appreciated that they did that as other companies may have cancelled.

It is difficult to know what to say about this trip - I would recommend it to people who are interested in our recent history and want to pay respects to the people who suffered particularly in WW2. I cant say it was enjoyable - the subject matter doesn't allow it to be enjoyable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and the tour around the fort was really interesting.

I would recommend it.

Disappointed in tour .Didn't really learn that much and the tour at camp was quite brief, didn't really show you much and we had a quick march through the old walkways inside the walls which was a feature of the old castle. Interesting but not applicable to the reason for the trip. There are lots of building there but unless you ask about them, they are ignored so what they were used for is anyones guess. If you didn't walk past the graves at the entrance and see theArbeit macht frei sign , you would not have any real inkling as to what has happened here. The guide at Terezin seemed keen to try and shift the blame for the camp to any other countrynaming Switzerland, England and USA as they were told about it and did nothing! We watched a 30 min film which could really have been shortened by half and again it was not that informative.
Maybe they need to have 2 separate tours, one about the history of the castle and one for the concentration camp.

Leticia was a excellent and knowable guide. From the pick up at our hotel to the drop off in Prague the service was excellent. This was a last minute reservation so I was very impressed with viator customer service.
