Amazing tour guide was great she took time for the couple of people who has mobility problems and it is just a beautiful place to visit.
We have a very dedicated and passionate local tour guide, who shared all the important information with us. Cesky Krumlov is really beautiful, although the weather was freezing cold for us from tropical country, but we really enjoyed it.
The lunch was delicious as well. Highly recommended.
The best day !! Cesky Krumlov was just beautiful. My only regret is we were only there for a day. So much to see and experience, an extra day would have been nice. Our tour guide was very informative and funny.
Maria was great! Her warm enthusiasm for the area was evident throughout the day. We had a super trip to the castle, lots of fun with the other travellers and a wonderful lunch in the medieval town of Cesky Kumlov. Definitely recommend. And also, amazing views!
We had a wonderful guide, Rosta Nespor, a full time resident of the town. He was energetic, humorous and very knowledgeable having been an archivist as well as a resident. We toured the castle, gardens and the town as much as possible on a one day trip. We had lunch in a restaurant built around the year 1595 which served very good food. It was a very worthwhile day.
Amazing, our tour guide Mr. Rosta was an expert. He had worked at the Castle's archives and was full with interesting history knowledge. I will recomend this city and with hopes you will get Mr. Rosta as your tour guide.
Such an historic and beautiful place. We had such a good time on this tour and Cesky Krumlov is such a wonderful place to visit.
Enjoyed the tour very much. The guide, who lives there, is very knowledgeable .
Really nice tour. Beautiful place to visit and the tour guide was helpful with info on what to do for the free time. I only wish that I had a little more time to take a kayak around the river but it would have been pretty tight to try.
This tour is exceptional. Very informative and Cesky Krumlov is beautiful. I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Prague.
We really enjoyed tour. Rosta did an outstanding job and handled some issues very professionally.
Our guide, Rosta, was great. It was really cool that he is from the town and has lived there for 40 years! He had lots of knowledge of the castle and town. It was a great trip.

The weather was not great which put a damper on the trip but was still a neat place. I could only imagine how amazing it would have been with sunlight. Such a charming little town!
The view of the town is spectacular. We had snow and ice on the way to CK, but our driver is very very professional. Highly recommend for a say trip from Prague.
Really nice tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and caring so made the tour really interesting. Comfortable bus, local guide speaking very good both English and Russian, which is rare combination. The city itself is rather nice day trip to see UNESCO world heritage. Something special.
we had a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and explained everything we would be doing regarding this full day trip. However, both my husband and I found there was too much down time and would have rather returned earlier. Also, the tour was in English and Spanish which added additional time. It would have been nice to have 2 different guides to address this tour in the 2 languages, as opposed to 1 guide, and have 2 separate trips.
The tour to Cesky Krumlov was a highlight of our recent visit to Prague. This midieval town in south Bohemia is justifiably a UNESCO world heritage site, with its well-preserved old buildings and the imposing castle overlooking the town. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather when we visited. The tour operator Prague City Tours picked us up right on time at our hotel, and they dropped us off as well. The only reasons that I didn't give this five starts are 1 the legroom on these midi buses is a bit limited, particularly for a tour involving about 5 hours of riding, and 2 our tour guide Jan, while knowledgeable and efficient, was not all that outgoing and friendly. There was a bit of anxiety when the bus wouldn't start for the return trip to Prague, but they were able to fix the problem, getting us back about 2 hours late.
Guide spoke excellent english and was very professional. The trip took 3 hours each way and you spend about 3 hours total in Cesky Krumlov. You will spend total of 1 hour picking up and dropping off fellow guests on your bus. I wish we've more time in the town as I feel very rushed. I only received half hour to explore on my own. The rest of the time was taken up by the lunch and the castle tour. Cesky Krumlov is SO beautiful you can spend a whole day there. So I would suggest a private tour or staying overnight. But if you want a day trip only and don't mind the long bus ride, this one is worth the money. The bus is very comfortable, and has wi fi.
We enjoyed the historical background given by our knowledgeable tour guide. However, it may not be for everyone. Nonetheless we enjoyed our tour due to the stunning scenery, patient tour guide and the chance to walk admidst the winding streets and castle grounds. If one could extend the tour even by an hour it could add even more to this trip. Cesky Krumlov is deserving of the UNESCO designation.
Worthwhile. If you are not sharing you are not sharing the tour guide with another language speaking group. Check before booking.

Tour guide was fine , but with large group of 20, struggled to educate us on items of interest as no earpieces were provided. Driver was excellent. Tour provided us with adequate time to look around . Viator needs to look at their choice of restaurants for the included lunch. Vegetarian option was last to be served and was inedible. Ham option was fatty and salty. Chicken not much better. All starch and meat, no vegetables.
This is a beautiful little town and our guide showed us around after we first arrived. Then we had lunch that was included in the tour, but it was a small crowed place that seemed like a family's back porch and the food was at best mediocre. The castle tour was interesting too. Unfortunately we only had 15 minutes to explore the town on our own! The tour would be improved if they skipped the lunch, and left earlier so that there was more time to see the town.
Firstly I would recommend visiting Cesky Krumlov as the old part of the town is picturesque and with some free time to walk around and explore this was the best part of the day. My first impression of the tour was not a good one. After being picked up from my hotel I was taken to a bus pick up point with the only way to describe the process of putting people on buses as 'organised chaos'. I was in the first instance put on the incorrect bus and then a the last minute told to get onto another bus. Who knows where I would have ended up if it had not been discovered. The trip to Cesky Krumlov is approximately 3 hours which then leads me to ask the question why the tour would not be started earlier so as to get out of the city before 9.30am. Upon arrival we were given a small tour of the outside of the castle and a small walking tour of the old town and then moved onto lunch. The lunch itself was very disappointing. The food was not that enjoyable, with dessert being a few biscuits which we were told were traditional 'wedding' fare. I did not try them as they looked rather dried out and to be honest looked a bit 'old'. We then had free time which was enjoyable and then met back at the castle for a guided tour of the inside rooms. The guide was a young man who I considered was doing his best 'Boris Karloff' impression as he explained about the lives of the previous inhabitants. Then an approximate 3 hour drive back to Prague making the arrival time back at the hotel around 8pm. I would recommend the tour to Cesky Krumlov but for me the organisation and the food offered on this particular trip was disappointing.
The place was great and lunch good. But the weather was shocking so it took four hours to get there and the same on the way back so a very long day. The guide was a nice guy but didn and #39;t really say anything about the place and it and #39;s history.
