Krkonoše National Park Snowshoeing Day Trip from Prague with a Mountain Leader

I booked this trip with my boyfriend whose never hiked before and it was better than I expected. Dalibor and Katerina, our guides, were awesome. They showed us all the techniques we needed to know for snow shoeing and gave us the equipment required, we walked at a good pace and were able to take photos and had plenty of rest stops along the way. It’s definitely doable for people of all fitness levels, Dalibor chose a path that was suitable for us given the fact it was the first time hiking in snow, the scenes were incredible, it looked like a winter wonderland! It was extremely cold but we were given extra gloves and hats etc if we needed, but I would recommend bringing all the gear that they advise. The lunch at the top of the mountain was traditional Czech food and was delicious, the descent down was much easier than the way up so we got to enjoy it more! The fact that they pick you up and drop you off makes things every easy, we also had the company of their dog which was nice. I would highly recommend booking this trip if you like hiking, you won’t regret it. Both the guides are wonderful and fun to hike with, if I ever come back to Prague I will definitely be booking again, whether it be a summer hike or a winter one!
