What To Expect

Find your way to the UNESCO-listed Prague Castle complex for the 1-hour chamber music concert.

The 16th-century Lobkowicz Palace, located in the castle complex, has been owned by a family of aristocrats for over 4 centuries and will host the midday concert. The baroque hall is known for its exquisite ceiling frescoes, painted by Czech artist Václav Fabián Harovník.

Listen to a varied program of music with solos and ensemble pieces from some of the world’s greatest baroque composers. Music by Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Vivaldi all feature, alongside the works of esteemed Czech composers such as Dvořák and Smetana.

Nice way to spend an hour in the afternoon. The 3 musicians were very good but particular praise goes to the pianist’s who I thought was great.

Well, Its not their fault. Just to let everybody know that if you ask Google to locate this Palace, it takes you downhill to somewhere near the US and German embassy. You should always call the palace. However after long hours of searching within the Prague Castle also we could not locate this

The venue is beautiful and the three musicians extremely talented. The one hour programme, which showcased 12 well known classical pieces, was just the right length of time. Afterwards we had lunch in the Lobkowicz Palace cafe which was also a lovely treat. For those that enjoy live classical music, this is a great choice.

Fantastic musicians set in a beautiful location. Only thing I would recommend is to notify people to allow an extra 5-10 minutes to get to that part of the castle because it is in the very back so we got there just in time versus being early.
