Fabulous! Great food, great company, and I enjoyed visiting different parts of the city. I’d highly recommend doing this tour at the start of your trip. I’ve revisited a couple of the places already. I have to be honest I went into this tour not expecting much but I have to say it was definitely one of the best food tours I have done in Europe. Thoroughly enjoyed learning about the country’s food culture and loved the historical progression of the tastings. I am using the word tastings mildly because it honestly was almost a full meal at each stop. Come very hungry. Martin our guide was awesome. Fantastic storyteller and Loved his genuine excitement about food and the history of Czech cuisine.

Excellent. This is our 2nd foodie tour (1st in Rome) and this was so much more fun. Our host, Marketa, was energetic, fun, always trying to keep the mood and energy levels up & we ate so much food we were rolling out. This food tour was longer and more expensive than others offered. I studied this tour, I liked the extras so I choose this tour. This tour covered the basics, but the extras were well worth it. I loved the tour, loved the tour guide and what she offered us. Not just a walking tour, we hoped on the subway a few times and went around the town. The cost of the subway was included.. but I had a 3 day pass so I did not need it. I do not drink beer so she made sure I got local lemonade. If you are not a foodies, it is your choice, if you are a foodie and want to experience the special offerings of the city, then take this tour.

I’ve been traveling Europe for a few months now & have done many tours. This tour was by far the best one I’ve done yet, and it was all because of the lovely tour guide Karolina! Best guide I’ve had in any country, very fun, welcoming, interesting and funny! Not mention you get to experience both great traditional Czech food and some more modern Czech food as well. This food tour was fantastic!! Peggy aka crazy red head did a brilliant job with the tour and selection of local food hot spots. She hit all the food accommodations for our entire group. We had no idea what they ate in Prague so we wanted a local to give us the best recommendations. We drank & ate so many great things. She also added her personal flare , her humor, historical country knowledge and just all around love of sharing this experience.

Where to start? This was, without a doubt, the best tour I have booked on Viator! What a phenomenal experience! I wondered about all the 5 star reviews and I can honestly say they are ALL well deserved. We visited 4 different restaurants, each providing us with plates of their favorite foods and a beverage. We started with a traditional experience, moved on to the most amazing beef (tried steak tartare for the first time and I’m a convert.), followed by fine dining of Czech with a modern twist, then a Michelin recognized restaurant. It just kept getting better and better. Our guide, Karolina, was delightful and our group had a blast! If we come back to Prague, we are definitely booking this again.

My daughter and I enjoyed the tour immensely. The group size of 10 people was just right and allowed for participants to engage on a personal level. Marketa was a fabulous host! Her passion and knowledge of the city shined through every minute. Her insights on the preparation of the foods we ate and the history of Prague made for a great learning experience and her delivery was masterful and entertaining. We have been talking about our experience with all of our friends and feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to take this tour.

We enjoyed the food tasting experience and the guides sharing of Prague history and culture. We would like to suggest that local wine be offered in the future. We especially thought the guides emailing of information after the tour was helpful. The political discussions of the voting system was interesting to us.

Tasty!

Jan was awesome and very accommodating of my tight schedule. I ended up leaving the tour early to fit another activity in and Jan had offered to make arrangements at a stop I missed in the event I was able to get back. The food and drink pairings were every foodies' dream and I cannot get over the delicious meatloaf sandwich we got from the butcher shop. Thank you so much for such a great experience!
