What You Can Expect

Prague Luxury Dinner Cruise on Vltava River

Enjoy an intimate 3-course dinner whilst admiring nightime views of Prague

Start your cruise on the Vltava River in central Prague in the early evening. Step aboard the stylish vessel and soak up the exclusive ambiance over a complimentary aperitif.
With space limited to just 48 guests, the boat is smaller than many of the cruise vessels that ply the Vltava, creating a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere on board.
As your boat pulls away from the jetty, make your way to the open or partially covered decks to drink in the passing sights.
Admire the stellar views of landmarks such as UNESCO-listed Prague Castle, the National Museum and Rudolfinum concert hall, and spot lesser-known treasures including the needle-shaped spires of the Emmaus Monastery.
Have your camera to hand as you cruise under the statue-laden Charles Bridge. As you pass through its arches, watch for the famous ‘bearded man’ carving — a sculpted head that provided medieval Praguers with a measure of river levels to help them predict floods.
When the time comes for dinner, take a seat in the comfortable main salon. Alternatively, if you’ve upgraded, dine in the bow area. This exclusive area is reserved for just 16 guests and offers a wonderful, panoramic outlook over the river. Wherever you’re seated, feast on a 3-course meal prepared by the onboard chefs. Savor Czech specialities such as Prague ham, confit duck or poached halibut, and pair your dishes with an included half-bottle of wine, beer or mineral water. Read on for a sample menu.
As you eat, enjoy the lilt of live piano music and the civilized, relaxed mood. Then, finish with a coffee or tea, and buy further drinks (own expense) if you wish.
After your meal, perhaps return to deck to appreciate the last, magical views of the city’s towers, steeples and turrets glittering against the night sky.
Your 3-hour cruise then ends back at the start point.

Sample Menu:

First course (choice of one):
  • Prague ham with cranberry dip
  • Goose foie gras served in red wine with apple
  • Smoked trout with mixed vegetable salad
Second course (choice of one):
  • Duck comfit with Carlsbad dumplings and red cabbage
  • Poached halibut in olive oil with potato puree
  • Club steak with creamed potatoes and pepper sauce
Dessert (choice of one):
  • Selection of French and Czech cheese
  • Strawberries with mint leaves and lemon sorbet
  • Chocolate mousse

This cruise is a must-do in Prague. The nighttime views of the city are wonderful it helped that the weather was perfect that night, and being an all-inclusive sort of dinner, I wasn't expecting the food to be anything special. I was mistaken. The food was really good, and the wine we selected was excellent hint: take the waiter's wine recommendation. The service was stellar our waiter, Martin, was terrific and spoke English well. There is live piano music throughout the cruise, and plenty of time between courses to take your wine or beer up to the top deck of the boat and enjoy the views or take photos. It is worth the extra money to sit in the bow of the boat. The bow is quieter and has a panoramic view of the city. Highly recommended.

Dinner was delicious. Few tables on the boat made it a quiet evening. Everyone went out on deck after dinner to enjoy a great view of the city.

My boyfriend and I decided to book this dinner cruise for our last night in Prague and would highly recommend it to other couples. The boat was lovely and the upgrade is well worth it you get your own private section of the boat with the best views money can buy. You get a welcome drink and a couple of bottles of water on the table as well as half a bottle of wine each, beer or coffe. Their was choice of 3 starters, mains and desserts, all of which sounded lovely and would accommodate most people. We went for the Parma ham and caprese salad to start, confit duck for main and chocolate Mousse for dessert. The meal was very good and the waitress attentive. Piano music played in the background whilst we sailed along the river and the views were incredible. money well spent!

We had no trouble finding boat's location. It was clean and spacious. We were glad we upgraded to be in front of boat where the views were excellent. The views from the top are the best but my husband wasn't up to going there after dinner because of a bum knee. The bottle of wine that was included choice between red or white was a very nice variety. The food selection was as advertised and very tasty. The service was excellent. The only problem was getting a cab at end of trip which was quickly resolved by walking over to the nearby hotel where the bellman ordered us one.I highly recommend this Cruise.
