What You Can Expect

Prague Sightseeing Flight

Admire aerial views of Prague during your sightseeing flight

Begin your experience with a pickup from your Prague hotel or another central meeting point. Then, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to Letňany Airport where your fixed-wing airplane awaits.

After a safety briefing, step aboard and feel the thrill as your plane takes to the skies above Prague.

During your 20-minute flight, listen as your experienced pilot identifies the sights below and outlines their history. As you approach central Prague, watch for lesser-known sights such as the Strahov Stadium, one of the world’s largest sports stadiums; as well as Prague Zoo and the beautiful Troja Palace.

Have your camera ready as you soar over Prague’s historical center. Look down over the massive complex of Prague Castle to see highlights such as St Vitus Cathedral, the Basilica of St George and Golden Lane — all easily recognizable and framed by the castle’s courtyards, walls and gardens.

Then, gaze down over the rooftops, towers and squares of Prague Old Town Square. Make out the crowds of people and enjoy stunning bird’s-eye views of the Astronomical Clock, the Charles Bridge and other landmarks.

Next, trace the path of the Vltava River to Vyšehrad, a historical fort dominated by the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, and the Vyšehrad Cemetery, the burial place of some of Prague’s best-known historical figures.

Head toward the Vinohrady neighborhood for distant views of the Zizkov TV Tower; and look down on the Soviet-era fighter jets at the Prague Aviation Museum before landing back at Letňany.

Leave your plane, and enjoy a drop-off back in Prague where your experience concludes.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended August 2014

This was an opportunity to see the City of Prague from a unique perspective and did not disappoint. Pilot was friendly and helpful and driver provided excellent service. Flying in a 50 year old Czech light twin engine plane was also fun for any plane enthusiasts. Highly recommend.
