A total waste of time. Could have bought tickets at the counter for cheaper price. And this was peak season
We were running late so give yourself enough time to climb the hill up to the castle...the line goes pretty quickly. Our guide gave us a map and a 5 minute introduction on the key points of the castle. He was wonderful as we were literally running to catch him. He stayed behind after delivering his speech to the large group and delivered us the same info. You could tell he loves history and enjoys his job! Great experience and would recommend it!
Saved a very long wait. We were delayed arriving and our contact had waited for us. - a very welcome surprise.
The very best part was information about which parts of the castle to see first, in order to avoid the enormously long wait for entrance to St. Vitus cathedral. His recommendation to not miss the older St. George cathedral proved worthwhile.
Highly recommend this. B and E from Vancouver.
If you want to know more about the castle and its history, buy this guide ticket. There were also stations with actors who helped to imagine different times of the castle in the past.
OK, I was going to really roast Viator and their supplier over the tickets I got. We turned up, couldn't skip the line, couldn't exchange the voucher for tickets etc. etc. But I am now going to turn my leg 180 degrees and kick myself in my rear end for NOT having read the darned instructions. Well, I have booked another tour with Viator to the Eiffel Tower, and this time I have actually read the instructions in details. WARNING: READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN DETAIL AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. Now I'm going to go away and drown my sorrows with some quality French beer. Ha Ha, only kidding, I mean German beer.
Prague Castle is amazing. This ticket is great if you want a self-guided tour. The tickets allowed us entrance to some of the most popular sites within the complex. Our favorite was the Golden Lane. Great for all ages. My 7, 9 and 14 year old all had a great time and wanted to come back the next day. Which we did! Highly recommended.
Getting the tickets from the guide was great and his inside tips made the touring easy without the crowds. Only suggestion is to clarify the exact meeting point. But not a big problem.
This is a great way to access the highlights of the Prague Castle. The guide was friendly and punctual, and he provided information on how to enjoy the sights without waiting in crowded lines. I also enjoyed walking and seeing the sights on my own at my own pace. Would recommend.
We did the castle tour. My favorite part was the cathedral.
Absolutely beautiful. The long hike up the mountain was worth it.
Amazing tour, great not to have to wait and que for the tickets.
Prague Castle is absolutely stunning and I would recommend going there to anyone, history stunning architecture and views for everyone
This tour includes St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George's Basilica, and Golden Lane. All are unique and beautiful in their own way and are highly recommended. There is no guide on this tour so please make note of that.
Very nice and knowledgeable guide and great to get the fast pass to enter all locations. Beautiful castle and so much to learn!!!
It was extremely easy to find the ticket holder despite there being lots of people around.
We found our contact to get the tickets to the castle easily and he was very friendly and explained everything very clearly.
The castle was overwhelmingly beautiful you have to go .Also get a hot chocolate in the courtyard outside it was heaven in the winter when its cold.
Great trip would go back.
This was not a tour but just an exchange of tickets. The person was timely and we got our tickets with no problem.
We had to wait in a short line for the basilica but we were able to skip the line to purchase tickets. The basilica line moved very quickly, so it wasn't a big deal at all. Great way to save time!
I would agree with some of the other reviews - I don't know that you really need a skip the line to get your tickets. We went on a Sunday, and the gates opened before the cathedral opened. Everyone has to wait in the security lines to get in. I will say, it is much quicker to go to the side entrance and NOT the entrance for security up the castle steps. The side entrance is right at one of the tram stops and that security entrance has 4-5 metal detector walk throughs where the step entrance only has one. We couldn't get our tickets from the tour guide until 12 but by then there were probably 500-600 people already in line to get into the cathedral. We had been there early but didn't realize that there was a giant line forming so we were just walking around until we realized that everyone was already lining up. We had to leave one of our family members in line while we went to find our ticket guide. I don't know that I saw a line at the official ticket office.. maybe so... and then I guess this would have been worth paying the extra money... just know that you need to line up 30 minutes or so before the cathedral doors open. As far as the tickets go, these tickets get you into 4 different areas. There are several other areas you could see but that are not included.
