What You Can Expect

Small-Group Prague Sightseeing Tour by Vintage Car

Small-Group Prague Sightseeing Tour by Vintage Car

Begin your vintage car tour at your central Prague hotel or meet your car and driver at a central meeting point.

Admire your gleaming, antique car — an authentic vehicle dating from the golden age of motoring in the early 20th century — and then hop aboard, with your experienced driver at the wheel.

Settle into your comfortable seat, and savor the experience as your driver starts the engine and heads into Prague’s handsome streets. Then, sit back and enjoy the sights as your driver recounts the secrets and stories of the main landmarks.

Learn about the Czech Republic’s past and present, and drive by magnificent Old Town Square, Prague’s main marketplace from the 12th century on.

Admire the beautiful baroque and Gothic buildings of the surrounding streets, and travel into the atmospheric Jewish Quarter. Pass the area’s well-preserved synagogues as you hear about Prague’s long Jewish heritage, and then trundle across the Vltava River to the lovely district of Mala Strana, spread beneath Prague Castle.

Explore the elegant lanes filled with traditional restaurants and shops, and listen as your driver explains how some date back as far as the 8th century.

After your 1-hour drive, your tour ends with a drop-off back at the start point.

5 star rating: Highly Recommended September 2015

We had a 1917 Alfa Romero roadster. It was fantastic. We saw more of Prague than we ever would have seen on foot. The driver was great. Very informative. I highly recommend this tour for especially those people that cannot walk very far or do not have the time to explore Prague on foot.

3 star rating: Worth doing October 2012

The car was great and the seats comfortable, however you have to make sure you get the one with seating for 2 with plenty of leg room. Our tour guide was very knowledgable which made the fact that we could not hear a lot of what he was saying disappointing. It is simple physics that someone talking with their back to you is going to be hard to hear. Not that we wanted him to turn around, I am a huge fan of safe driving. A simple microphone with some speakers in the back would do wonders. Apart from this it was a fun way to see the highlights of the city. One tip is not to sit back and let the driver do all the talking. I found we were driving past some places that were not being commented on. Ask all the questions you want, we found our driver more than obliging in answering all my inane questions.

1 star rating: I do not recommend this June 2013

expensive tour for 6 people. Car did not arrive, had to call contact. 1st car sent too small for 6. 2nd also not as promised in description. It is a great tour but 6 of us were squeezed into a vehicle too small. For over $500 for 6 people we were quite disappointed.
