Great customer service provided by Bohemia Adventures. We knew that due to the Coronavirus, we would be temperature checked on the return from Germany into Czech Republic and we were concerned if we/other people on the trip, failed the check. Bohemia Adventures provided alternative options where we could remain in the Czech Republic and gave us a choice. We went to Hřensko, the Pravcicka Gate and hiked through the woods. The lunch was beautiful and our guide, Tereza, helped explain my gluten/dairy allergies, so my meal was tweaked to suit. In the afternoon we went to Tiske steny and walked through the rock formations and caves. It was an absolutely beautiful walk, so glad we chose this. Tereza was fantastic, very helpful and more than happy to answer any questions. Her English was excellent and her customer focus was fab. Completely recommend this trip. It’s great for getting out of the city into the hills, while seeing more of the Czech Republic. I strongly recommend this company and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we return to Prague.
Pick up from the hotel was on time as communicated. Both parks are amazing. Adam, the tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I fully recommend this tour if you like hiking and nature. It wont disappoint
I was quite worried that I would not physically fit enough to do this hike, but it was totally manageable. I would describe it as an easy to moderate hike that’s well paced and the trail was well groomed. Our tour guide Janca was wonderful.
There were 6 of us which was a great sized group. More than that would have been uncomfortable in the van.
We had a fun tour last August. I will not deny the fact that our legs were aching by the middle of the day (we had a long walking tour the day before), but the fun way Struan handled our small group tour helped ease our welcomed pain. :) The team/office was also warm as they give us updates on the tour The places we visited were amazing and breathtaking. The food they served in the restaurant where they took us for lunch was good. The boat ride was fun, too. We couldn't understand the boat captain but by the expression of his face, he reckon he's a comedian. We also enjoyed Struan's trivia quizzes and his stories! If you are visiting Czech Republic and up for a walking/hiking tour, then this is worth your time and money. Thank you to the team for this wonderful experience!
Easy to book and our tour guide (Adam) was there waiting at our hotel in the morning to start our tour and was great the whole day, so easy to get along with! Lunch was delicious and a good choice on the menu it was hard to decide what to have. Beautiful views at each of the stops, was definitely worth it.
I would gladly put the views of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in fall up against and spectacle Rome or Honolulu have to offer. My tour was with Tomas of Bohemia Adventures and he was polite and informative. Do keep in mind that this tour is very long and the hikes in the national park are of moderate difficulty and are marathons - not sprints. Come prepared and you'll ask yourself why these sights weren't on your bucket list to begin with.
As a solo hiker, I was joined by another solo hiker and a couple, along with our guide, Teresa. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather to enjoy the sites. I was initially concerned that it might be a very demanding hike, but it was no issue for me, endurance-wise. I would say that anyone who has challenges with balance or stairs or slightly slippery surfaces might want to bear that in mind. Teresa was a great guide, explaining the history of the parks, location and relevance to the surrounding communities, and she brought fun energy to the day. Highly recommended!
