This tour was amazing. At the beginning, the guide Kristyna painted a picture for us of the situation in Europe prior to WW2 and throughout the day led us through history until the end of the war. She was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the camp and the lives of the people who were detained there. She has a pleasant speaking voice and the information and stories she gave was just the right amount and easy to follow. The tour was well-paced and very interesting. Terezin both the small camp and the larger one- you will see both gives you a real sense of what life was like there and the tragedies and humiliations that the people who lived there had to endure. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Great tour guide and a good way to see such an important place.
The tour was expertly handled both from a sensitivity point of view as well as logistics. We always look to Viator for special trips.
Note to Viator: The tour was advertised as Prague to Terezin by train. This was by bus. Previously had seen the same comment. Suggest if train is difficult to arrange only advertise the bus.
While this is never a happy subject for a day tour, it was definitely a day I will remember forever. Please just be respectful of what this town and camp means in history, some people can be very inconsiderate without realizing it.
My tour guide was very knowledgeable and it is overwhelming to imagine the true human horrors that occurred there, but as a history buff myself, it was such an experience to see it all first hand. I wish I had all of my pictures available as there are some truly humbling feelings you get at this place.
I would recommend this trip to anyone who can really appreciate history and the human ability to overcome, even in the darkest of times. The short movie that you watch really makes you feel the history of the location and gives you a first hand view of truth and lies during that time.
Amazing, amazing tour!!!! Loved every second of it! We had a wonderful guide names Karel. It was a little exausting because its a full day so just bring along food, good shoes and you should be fine. They sold water on the bus. I highly reccomend this!
The Terezin tour was well organized and a very good value. We understand that this tour formerly traveled by train to Terezin but now they use a bus. In our opinion this change did not detract from the sobering experience of visiting this concentration camp. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. We highly recommend this tour.
This was by far the best side trip that I took while visiting Prague. The guide was incredibly interesting and fully of knowledge of both the history and the area. Even though this was a very emotionally taxing trip, the guide made it worth the visit.
A sad place to visit, but definitely worth going to. Brian, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the intriguing history of this camp and made our tour a memorable one.
Our tour guide, Sarah, was so great. She was very informative and gave lots of interesting stories about some people who lived in Terezin. It was a day well spent, and I learned a lot about life within Terezin. I highly recommend this tour!
Our guide for this tour was Filip. He was very friendly and passionate about the history of Terezin. We travelled by coach, pass through the countryside to Terezin where the tour starts. It was an emotional, thorough and detailed tour as Filip retraces history to give us an unforgettable visit. Wonderful tour with an amazing guide, definitely worth it.
Although it was a bit tiring with such a short lunch break, overall it was quite satisfactory. our guide was amaizing with so much knowledge and history to explain. Thank you for arranging the tour.
Amazing tour guided by Sarah. The tour gives you lots of details about the history of the place and the people who were in prision there during the WW II. The visit to Terezin is something I will not forget, and it was probably the best tour I have done during my trip in Prague.
There was no train only the coach. Very disappointed. Our guide Sarah was excellent, also her knowledge.
Amazing place, truly stunning, moving and emotional. The tour was made better by Filip, the guide. A truly remarkable young man who is very passionate about his country and its history. Undoubtedly the best tour guide we have ever met. He made us feel as though we were part of the history absolutely phenomenal guide giving a spectacular, unforgettable day. Thank you Filip
Wow, what a great tour. A bit overwhelming with all the information. Good information but need more breaks.
This tour was excellent. Our guide, Filip, was a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of Terezin and was able to relate that information to us in a way that was informative and easy to understand. The train ride was nice because it gave a different view of the countryside and Filip provided a running commentary of what we were seeing. I would definitely do this tour again if I bring friends or family to Prague.

EXCELLENT tour. The tour guide was amazing and helpful!!!
Very thorough, detailed tour led by an excellent and most professional guide Tijo. He was able to keep the group together and moving at a good pace without rushing anything, and providing plenty of detail and insight on each item within the tour. His knowledge and delivery were absolutely great and made the tour extremely worthwhile. The duration 10am - 5pm was just right for the things we saw the included train time there and back.
Our tour guide was the best . Tour was a bit humbling . But lots of great information.
Great tour and very informative tour guide. The only little problem is, sometimes our tour guide tends to be less audible towards the end of her sentences. Wish they offered radio and earphone as some other companies do.

Matter of fact and well organised. Worth a day trip out. However, note that the train is no longer in use.
I recommend visiting Terezin, although there were a few things I would change about this tour. It gets a bit rushed at certain points, but there is just so much to see. The order of the sites visited should be reorganized, I was quite confused during parts of the tour. Overall a good experience.
There is no longer a train tour offered......The bus tour was awesome but our group was looking forward to the authenticity of the train.
Our guide Brian was amazingly knowledgable. It was an excellent experience.
