This was a lot of fun. It was a perfect day. Bring a hat if you want to sit on top deck it gets sunny. The accordion player was great. The food was OK but it feed us meats, cheese, pasta, beef, salad, cream puffs drinks you will have to buy yourself.

Just as advertised. The cruise left on time, a buffet meal was available and we enjoyed the views. The buffet was nice. There were plenty of options for my husband and I and for our daughter, who is vegan.
The ONLY thing that I would complain about is the temperature inside the boat. They really need air-conditioning. The temperature outside was only 75 degrees, but inside the boat had to have been about 90 degrees. The upper deck is open, but it was raining, so, not an option. I would've given the cruise 5 stars had it been more comfortable to ride inside.
I would still recommend this cruise.

Really enjoyable - actually better than I'd expected. We took our very strong welcome drink in and sat at a table!! We were brought a basket of different breads and flavoured butter whilst others boarded. The buffet was plentiful with chicken legs, stew, cheese, tatties and various salad amongst other bits. I'm a veggie but was happy with the salads.
There was also a selection of fruit. Later cake and strudel! The accordion player was very good and added to the atmosphere. Some people even had a sing-song! The view was good, though I agree that a little optional commentary would have been nice. Even just someone with a mic pointing out the odd landmark. Although it was raining a little, a canopy covered the open deck upstairs so it was still possible to sit outside or in.
I'd definitely recommend the trip!

Very enjoyable river trip and well priced, good value.

The buffet lunch was perfectly acceptable with good drinks service.

Music was provided by an excellent accordionist, very entertaining.

Only small downside was that the Captain had apparently decreed that it was too windy to have umbrellas out on deck, there was hardly any wind at all and it was so hot sunshine that really the outside deck became out of bounds.

Overall, it was very nice. The crew were nice, the food was generally good and the cruise very relaxing. I strongly recommend this lunch cruise especially after spending a few hours walking
