What You Can Expect

Day Cruise from Providenciales Including Snorkeling and BBQ Lunch

Day Cruise from Providenciales Including Snorkeling and BBQ Lunch

After pickup at your resort near Grace Bay Beach, you'll be shuttled to your fully-equipped catamaran. This comfortable boat has padded loungers for sun-lovers and shade-seekers, as well as a built-in diving board and water slide. Upon departure from the marina, the boat will glide out to the barrier reef for some of the best snorkeling in the Turks and Caicos islands. Experienced swimmers and snorkelers can suit up in the provided mask, snorkel, and fins and dive right in, while novice snorkelers can ask the crew for guidance. You'll see vibrant coral, colorful tropical fish and maybe even sea turtles.

Climb back on board the boat for some complimentary beer, water, soda and the local favorite: rum punch. Your next stop is the conch grounds, where your crew will scare up some mollusks to prepare fresh conch ceviche onboard your boat. The boat will sail for some of the area's more remote islands, including Half Moon Bay, Little Water Cay (also known as Iguana Island), Pine Cay and Fort George Island. You'll relax on many soft white sand beaches on these island stops.

At lunch time, your captain will anchor the boat at one of the small islands where you can swim, snorkel and lounge as the crew prepares a delicious barbecue lunch to eat alfresco. You'll enjoy ribs, chicken, corn, potatoes, conch salad and dessert while you bury your toes in the sand. Even though island time seems to move a little slower, before you know it, your full-day cruise will be over and you'll be dropped back at your Grace Bay hotel.

This tour is AMAZING! I loved every minute of it from the amazing music to the rum punch to the stunning views and the surprisingly delicious BBQ lunch! We did the full day BBQ tour on Feb 17 and got a gorgeous day. We had Delroy and another young guy can't remember his name as our guides and they were fantastic guides! The young guy, who is only 22 years old, was so nice and spent so much time talking to us and answering all my questions about the island. We were lucky enough to get to see 3 dolphins swimming in the wild and the guys took their time and stopped the boat for us for about 20 min to watch them swim. It was incredible! I highly, highly recommend this tour. This was our second time in TCI but the first time that we did a boat tour and I will 100 do this one again on my return to TCI. Worth every penny!

The tour was one of the best I've ever been on. Sean and his crew were great, very accommodating. The drinks were flowing freely very friendly and knowledgeable staff. All day tour worth every penny. The lunch was great. Can't say enough good things.

My wife and I preferred the full day tour, 7h actually that's available only Wednesdays.
Pickup was on time from the beach in front of Oasis resort in Grace Bay.
Shawn and Emanuel, our crew, were very entertaining and fun to spend the time with.
Rum-punch, beer and food were Ok.
We had lunch on a beautiful island were the BBQ was used to re-heat the prepared stuff, but wouldn't be practical otherwise.
Shawn chopped the fresh conch to prepare the ceviche.
A strong rain poured over our lunch for about half hour but we were all in a good mood and had fun about it.
The boat, one of the 3 owned by Island-Vibes Tours, is not that big but adequate for 20 people, mostly Americans and Canadians on that day.
In between the snorkeling, lunch, iguana island and diving from the upper deck, we had a great time and would recommend this for anyone loving the ocean.
The price was the highest we paid for such a trip compared to similar European or Caribbean trips, but I guess it blends in with all the other inflated prices in TCI.
