What You Can Expect

Grace Bay Snorkeling Cruise from Providenciales

Enjoy a day out on the water in Turks and Caicos!

Start with a morning or afternoon pickup from a select hotel in the Grace Bay Beach area. Board your catamaran and gaze out at the 7-mile (11-km) stretch of unbroken white sand that forms Grace Bay Beach. Sit in the shade on the bottom deck with a glass of rum punch, or slather on some sunscreen to hit the roof deck's lounge chairs.

At the snorkel spot, slip on your mask and flippers and slide into the water around the vibrant reef. Take advantage of the Caribbean’s clear sea as you snorkel among tropical fish and sea turtles.

Later, cruise onward to a nearby conch ground to watch your first mate dive for lunch. With the freshly caught conch, your crew will whip up fresh conch ceviche, accompanied by water, soda, beer or rum punch.

Cruise past Pine Cay and Fort George Island, then stop at Little Water Cay to meet the native rock iguanas. Watch for jumping dolphins on the way back to Grace Bay Beach, and finish with a hotel drop-off.

Steven and Manny were our hosts for the morning snorkeling trip and arrived very promptly to pick us up at 9am. Getting aboard was a little challenging as it was rough at the waters edge but Steven with his great docking skills made it a smooth transition.
They were a fine professional team with great humor, energy and enthusiasm! They were very informative about the island and clearly loved their jobs and were proud of their heritage as natives of Turks and Caicos. Safety instructions were reviewed for the boat and snorkeling stop.
The only changes to the description of the tour is that it should no longer be stated that they dive for the conch. There is now regulation that prohibits diving for the fresh conch without a license. The conch is brought on board prior to the trip and a tasty lunch prepared with a good variety of sandwiches. Iguana Island was interesting in that this is the only island that has resident iguanas in the world.
Recommend this for first time snorkelers and all who love a boat ride surrounded by incredible natural beauty of white sand beaches and ever changing ocean aquamarine colors.
I would have loved to have done one more snorkeling stop if time allowed.

Our hosts were LJ and Big Mike and they took care of the entire group. They picked us up promptly from the beach outside of our hotel and within moments we were off on our adventure. We drove out to a nice spot in the ocean and got some tips on snorkeling before diving in. Everyone just went at their own pace and explored the ocean around the boat. After that we were off to explore the northern most point of the island and found out about how hurricane Donna created that portion of the island back in 1960. We got some pictures of iguanas on their little island in addition to the live conch shell demonstration that you have to see to believe. It was time for lunch back on the boat after our exploring was done, where we were treated to fresh salsa like salads with fresh conch included for those that ate shellfish along with as much rum punch as you wanted. Before we headed back we saw how some of our lighter group were able to glow underwater....amazing. It was a great trip and everyone had an amazing time. The pictures and memories will last forever. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to have a little adventure on TCI.

Super fun excursion! The captains were a good time, and the others on the catamaran were super friendly and welcoming. How could you not love swimming in that beautiful water!?

Manny and LJ did a great job. Weather was stormy great which led to choppy water at the dive site but they kept things upbeat and everyone on the boat had a great time. Diving next to the boat on Iguana Key is very good so take a second dive there.

We had an absolutely great time on our snorkeling cruise. Our two guides were both fun and professional. We had a good amount of snorkeling time, but also some very nice relaxing beach time at Iguana Island and lots of fun on the boat's slide and diving board. I would definitely recommend this group for both value and quality of the experience.

My family of 5 enjoyed our 1/2 day snorkeling trip with Island Vibes. We do wish we spent more than 40 minutes at the 1st stop snorkeling. Then drove off to Iguana Island to enjoy conch conk salad, view Iguanas in their natural environment and enjoy refreshments. My kids asked for the snorkel gear again and before long many others did as well. The 3rd stop was right before drop off close to land. Most guests jumped off the diving board and went down the slide. Music and fun for all. Must do when in Turks and Caicos.

Tour was lots of fun. Boat was clean, crew very friendly! Dropped us off at an Oceanside bar per our request. Iguana island was beautiful, can and #39;t beat the beaches in TCI, just gorgeous. I would recommend Island Vibes.
