Receive a pickup from the Puerto Chacabuco port. The timing will be matched to your ship’s arrival. You’ll continue from there to Puerto Aysén City to begin your sightseeing excursion.

Make your first stop of the day at Presidente Ibañez Bridge, famous for being the longest suspension bridge in Chile, and then continue to the handicraft markets that line the banks of the Aysén River. Proceed from there to the “dead-water port,” a unique fishing dock that is only accessible to the ocean during high tide. You’ll also get to the check out the historic Los Palos Bridge before transferring back to Puerto Chacabuco and getting dropped off back at your ship.

We spent our excursion with Francisco Vera, a local guide. It was very enjoyable excursion. He is very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas, he is well spoken in english and reliable. We were able to see the country side and enjoy a little walk via some back roads.
