It was amazing. And they tour guides were great. I'm not a swimmer but I felt safe at all times. A special thanks to Eduardo, Joe and Christian. And the bus driver too - Miguelito.
This was our favorite tour during our trip to Puerto Rico! My family of four thoroughly enjoyed being able to kayak out to various spots so that we could snorkel through beautiful coral reefs. We saw turtles, jelly fish, sting rays and fish. All of the staff were very professional, knowledgable and kind. They did an amazing job of making sure everyone was having a good time. It was apparent how much they enjoyed their jobs and respected the environment. Eduardo was an AWESOME guide! The trip to Flamenco beach was incredible as we were able to see some of the most beautiful shades of blue water imaginable. I highly recommend booking this tour for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Our family of six booked this tour and were very much pleased with the trip! Our main guide, Rafe, was great! As well as the assistant guides who all were pretty humorous and helpful. We had our children aged 9-14 who loved every moment of it! We saw amazing sea life and took in the beautiful sites. The beach was great, though our time was shortened due to the late departure of the ferry from Farjado. which totally out of the control of the tour provider. Overall, a great day excursion!
Definitely worth doing. Rafie was energetic and kept our spirits up even when the tide was rough and we didn't want to paddle our kayak anymore. The coral reef and the turtles were amazing up close, and Flamenco beach was nice too. Bring a towel!
This is our worst experience in Puerto Rico. The tour was so badly organized - there's barely organization. We were flying to Vieques later with our luggage so we called ahead to confirm that they'll keep our luggage for us on Culebra during the tour. Keeping our luggage turns out means that take your luggage wherever you go. We didn't see anything of the Flamenco beach because we had two big suitcases with us and they can't roll on the sand. DON'T PROMISE SOMETHING THAT YOU'RE INCAPABLE OF DOING!!!! The tour was also badly organized. The snorkeling part was so disorganized that basically you spend more time chasing after the tour guide and swimming than actually see something. Can't you make the stopping point a little closer to the snorkeling point? A lot of people on our tour even gave up snorkeling because they're not capable of swimming that far far away while following the tour guide. Last but not least, they lost our photos. They kept telling us that this is a technical glitch. Is uploading pictures from a sim card to the computer super technical? Even my grandmom who's 80 knows how to do this. They offered us 5 dollars refund. Serious?! You must be kidding me. My moments with my boyfriend is priceless to us and 5 dollars is definitely not a sincere apology for we lost your photos because we're too careless. Don't go to this tour if you have any other options.
This excursion was amazing! We were able to see turtles, sting rays, starfish and the coral reefs! The guides were extremely helpful in the entire process. Rafael our main instructor was great and extremely knowledgable on the area.
1-one hour drive from San Juan.
2-parking lot is a mess to get out of.
3-90 minute ferry ride each way. Ferry has A/C. That helped.
That's the bad stuff if bad at all.
4-snorkels and saw the turtles. They saw me. We were all happy.
5-kayaked to another snorkel spot. Saw a few fish. Nothing thrilling.
6-went to an area to eat and locals got to this park. food ok.
7-highlight of this trip was the beach. You have an hour including eat time.
The people of Puerto Rico are the nicest
