What To Expect

Get out of your car and onto an ATV, taking you along off-road trails to some of Puerto Rico’s most picturesque natural scenery. No matter your level of ATV-driving experience, this excursion is a fun-filled adventure into some of Puerto Rico’s lesser-known wild terrain.

Start the morning around 8am with departure from your hotel in San Juan. Upon arriving at the ATV course, take a moment for safety instruction, an overview of vehicle handling and a short practice run to test out your ride. Once you start feeling comfortable, it’s time to head into the forest of Hacienda Campo Rico for your 4x4 experience.

Motor along the varied landscape of verdant tropical fields, stopping for photos at a few of the most picture-worthy spots. Then finish the trip with a drop-off at your hotel in San Juan.

Hacienda Campo Rico

Meet your experienced guides, receive a safety briefing and get operational instruction on how to drive your ATV. Hit the gas and follow your guide as you maneuver your 4x4 machine around hills, mangroves, lagoons, and tropical fields. Watch for wildlife along the trails before driving up to Mi Casa, a traditional Spanish sugarcane plantation estate home. During a short break take photos and learn the history of this ranch. Continue your ride through the ranch, stopping at the horse stables and learning the history of the "Paso Fino" horse. End your ride at the Mojito Bar. Relax and rejuvenate in this hilltop watering hole, where you can purchase beer and other tropical drinks. A valid driver's license and Visa/Mastercard is required.

Limit combined weight is 450 lbs.
A valid CREDIT CARD (Visa or Mastercard) is required for check in to cover any incidentals to the equipment.
1 ATV Machine per driver. Shared Drivers will not be accepted.
Pick up time will be notified the day before the activity IF HOTEL (within Zone /List) was provided at least 72 hours in advanced. Otherwise guests can meet us at the Hacienda. No transfer credit applies.If guests miss the transportation, they can meet us directly at the hacienda (if time permits)
Guests staying outside of San Juan metropolitan area Pick Up Zone/List (districts of Isla Verde, Condado, Miramar & Old San Juan) must make arrangements to meet the group. Guests must be on time for check-in.
No refunds or re-schedule applies for late cancellations, no shows, being late or not complying with the requirements (license, credit card, age, max weight, Covid etc).

We had a blast!!!!!! It was my kids first time riding on ATVs and we loved the entire experience. Customer service was great, the 2 hr. Rides were perfect and the scenery was breathtaking!!! We will definitely be visiting again once we come back home to PR!!!

I've done ATVs a number of times and was completely disappointed in this experience. They were on 225 acres of land and literally had us go around in a circle and then to a dead end and back. It wasn't what I expected at all but I will say that the employees were great to deal with

Alejandro the tour guide was awesome . You get the real atv experience on the back roads getting muddy ! They have good drinks and food . They rinse you off after your atv experience ( shoes , arms , legs ) .

I love adventure, and initially thought 4 wheeling isn't the most adventurous, BUT Alejandro definitely changed my views! He took us through tracks with knee deep water, mud and puddles. Getting stuck, getting unstuck, getting filthy, all made the tour very memorable! I had a great time!

ATVs were good quality, wide base and sturdy making them easy to ride. Course was fun but smaller and you go relatively slow throughout most of it. When we were checking in we ended up purchasing the recommended goggles and bandana (to keep dust from your mouth). Neither were truly needed for our ride. Take a bag to hold your stuff that can be used while on an ATV. All in all super fun and would do it again.

As this was my first time riding a atv, the experience was very fun, was nervous first, but then got used to all the controls quickly. Amir our guide was very down to earth and friendly, also knowledgeable. I liked the trail they had, just with there was a separate trail for more advance riding where we can really rip open the quad. But overall fun exceeded my expectations.

I had an excellent time at this excursion. The trail was a bit more challenging than I expected, but so much fun. That being said, I wouldn’t recommend this trail for beginners. The ATVs are large and comfortable and most importantly FAST! They have a area where they sell goggles and scarves, but I recommend bringing your own as their’s are very overpriced. They also have food for sale after you’re done riding. The food is delicious, but it would be nice to have a meal included since the price is a little high for ATV-ing. All in all, I would highly recommend booking. The worst part of this excursion was the transportation driver who honked at every car on the interstate on the way back to the hotel.

This was a great experience over all. Alejandro was our tour guide and he was awesome. This terrain is not flat and calm all the way through. There were certain spots that were very uneven. If you have any back problems i do not recommend this tour at all for you as it may be too j comfortable. If you are looking for the address to get to the location do not insert the address provided by Viator as it will take you somewhere else. Type in your gps Hacienda Campo Rico and it will take you right where you need to be. The mojitos that are available for purchase after the tour were awesome. I would recommend you being your own gloves to be able to grip the handles better. Also bring some sunscreen and bug spray. Where some clothes you do not mind getting muddy. Will definitely do it again.
