Downtown Puerto Vallarta Food Tour

JoAnna was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the food, the culture, and the history of the area. She went out of her way to make the tour special for each person on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Puerto Vallarta.

Victor was an amazing tour guide! We had the most delicious food, we learned a lot about the local food scene and city, and had a really great time! A very well rounded trip with a good walk. It was the perfect balance!

What a wonderful time! We were staying at Punta Mita and took a day trip to Puerto Vallarta for this tour, and we are so glad we did. The tour was great! Silvia our tour guide was very informative and kind. She not only shared information regarding the delicious foods we tried but also about Puerto Vallarta. This tour was a great way to see the city with a few hours in hand, while eating authentic, great Mexican cuisine. A must when in Puerto Vallarta!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience. Our guide Bernardo was truly notch!! He was extremely knowledgable, personable and kind. The food/drink was DELICIOUS t every stop. We were so full but the walking helps! We enjoyed this tour very much and do highly recommend it. We may try to do another tour with this company before our vacation ends. Seriously, you will not regret it.

It ended up being just me and my fiancé which made this experience 100% worth it. Victor was amazing! We had an absolute blast with him exploring PV all while trying amazing food!

Our tour guide was the best, Joana. She was so informative, relaxed, and just kind. She shared so much about the culture and the city, besides just the food experience. We were with only one other couple and the small group size was great. The food was delicious and seemed very authentic. The pace and walking were great. I would highly suggest doing early on in your trip because it will help you decide other things you want to do and where you want to eat.

Victor was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgeable of the area, culture, and of course food! All the food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Victor was a lively energetic tour guide and the food was amazing as were the stories that accompanied it. We met in a very artistic park which was a treat in itself. All the food was GREAT! There was a seafood place that we only had stuffed peppers at which was a little confusing but still good! They even teach you how to properly drink tequila (ps you’ve likely been doing it wrong your whole life) at one of the places while trying different types of mole enchiladas. We have tried to revisit every place on the tour bc we craved it and honestly it tasted better than the typical beach restaurants and way cheaper too (without being cheap products). When we told our hotel where we had been, their eyes lit up as they told us those were the real Vallarta food places and we were lucky to know the real Vallarta. I would recommend putting on mosquito spray, and sunblock, though Victor did a great job in making sure we were always walking on the shady side of the sidewalk. Overall, I highly recommend this food tour, especially in your first couple of days of vacation, to help orient yourself with the “real Vallarta.”
