What a treat to have the whole history of tequila explained in such an interesting and top class fashion. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour, the tequila tasting was great and pleasantly interactive so that we learned even more! To conclude the evening with a magnificent stage production full of lively music and dancing then a tasty meal at a local restaurant was the perfect way to begin our vacation!
Very nice show and excellent dinner. Well worth the trip!
This was a great tour. They picked us up at the plaza. We were the only 2 on the tour, so talk about a small group. The tour of the town was nice and it was good to hear some local history about buildings and some statues along the way. Bernardo was our tour guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable!
The tequila museum/tasting was fun. I learned alot about tequila history and the process to make it. I am now more of a fan of tequila. The tasting was fun and to pick out the aroma that you smell was different than other tastings liquors.
The Mariachi Show was amazing. I felt bad, but we were the only ones in the audience, however I felt honored that they were preforming just for us. The performers you could tell were having fun on stage and that is always fun to see. The segment where the men did the machete ?sp knife twirling was incredible. Great control over their props!
After the show we took the trolley to dinner. It was delicious and I highly recommend the tortilla soup. Also go hungry, lots of food! Following dinner you were free to go home. You are right on the boardwalk on the ocean front with lots of shops and bars great for just wondering around.
The only downside was that I wish they would have taken us back to the pick up spot. Good thing we were kinda familiar with the public transportation system and caught a bus back to our hotel. If not familiar with the buses there are always plenty of taxi's ready to go in Puerta Vallarta.
Thanks for the great tour!
The trolley tour was great ... Manuel, the driver manouevered the streets like a pro and Bernardo, our tour guide was informative, witty and interesting. The tequila museum was very educational and the tasting process superb. The young people who put on the mariachi show put on an amazingly professional and we were incredibly impressed by their performance and costumes. The dinner was impressive. All in all, we would highly recommend this tour. We started the tour at about 5 pm and didn't finish dinner until about 10 pm so it was a full evening's entertainment.
