it was....ok

From the start. Arrive at the terminal and pay the port fees, it's like $2 usd per person. Check in, it's a little unorganized. Wait in a area where you might get approach for a time share. Go through security screening. Boat ride to the snorkeling takes 1 hour. No alcohol is served until after snorkeling. You get half and hour to do three activities. Snorkeling, pattle boarding and kayak. So the rub...when it rains you can't see anything if you snorkel. They only have 2 boards and 3 kayaks fir 40 people...it's ridiculous!!! After you go to the beach, which takes 30 min. At the beach you can just hang out or pay to horseback ride to the falls or pay to ride on the back of a ATV. We did the horseback riding. Cost was $50 usd each and was fun but short, about 20 min. The falls are great but only get 15 min there. Lunch was included and was good...not amazing but ok. The all you can drink really starts on the ride back which takes an hour and a half. The alcohol is cheap but plentiful. You best bet would be to just take a water taxi to the beach and be on your own schedule.

Good snorkeling, very long day

Snorkeling was great but not long enough. The boat ride was very long. It was pouring rain and we decided not to see the waterfall. Others said it was worth it but for us it was good to be dry for a bit. The music on the boat was excessively load and there was not a place to be on the boat less noisy. I was surprised that no one wore masks once we were on the ocean including the staff. But we were outside so it worked out for the most part.

Lies…

We boarded the boat and were greeted by the crew. They were all helpful and took care to attend to our needs. Breakfast: was a plate of scrambled eggs and “chilaquiles”, with a an orange drink. When the crew leader explained the activities ( snorkeling, waterfall, beach activities) , he emphasized that we would NOT be able to access the waterfall at Yelapa UNLESS we paid 400 pesos per person for an ATV or horse. Because we booked the trip specifically to see the waterfall, we paid to have the ATV take us. According to the crew, due to the recent rainfall it would be impossible to forge the vast river. As we rode the ATV up a very narrow WALKWAY we were livid to see other tour companies WALKING their guest up to the waterfall. The ATV ride up was 4-5 minutes. The ride down was even shorter. Please avoid this company- they were dishonest and managed to get 13 guest to book the ATV. We saw people of all shapes and sizes walking to the waterfall, please be advised that it is very doable! It is a 15-20 minute walk. Along the walk are small shops were you can purchase souvenirs and food- these also help as little rest stops if needed. Ridding on the ATVs was actually more of an inconvenience since we had to wait for the walkers to move to the side! I think having the ATV as an option is great for those who want it. But its unacceptable to LIE to your guest to force them to take the ATV. The lunch provided was good. On the boat ride home, the crew served us drinks. We arrived back to the Marina at 6:10pm instead of 4-5pm. We booked with this company because Vallarta Adventures was sold out. We did 2 tours with Vallarta Adventures and had great experiences, they were also the company we saw walking the clients to the waterfall.

Fun times

This trip was extremely fun! The people were friendly, the food was good, and there were plenty of time for pictures. The only thing negative I can say is that everything was an up charge. It would be nice if they stated those up charges in the description so people can plan accordingly but nevertheless me and my friends had so much fun! When your on vacation your suppose to bring extra money anyways so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I would definitely recommend this excursion!

This tour was amazing! We loved the experience, all three generations of our group. Plenty of drinks and food, and chances to see whales and manta rays (March). The scenery is perfect for awesome pictures too! Highly recommend!!

SUMMER FUNNN

My experience was WONDERFUL. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. There are so many things to do in one and it is well worth the money. We paid 56 per person which came with breakfast and lunch. Also, it comes with unlimited drinks. When you get to Yelapa, you can either stay on the beach or pay an extra $20 to go to the falls which will be by horse or ATV. Please go by horse. You will not be disappointed. Fernando was such an awesome host. Support the photgrapher for the pictute he takes are only $30 and he takes a lot. Definitely over 100. I recommend the shrimp burger for lunch. Make sure you bring pesos or cash for all the extra things you can do.

Yelapa snorkel tour

, Mar 2020
Yelapa was very nice, good food nice beach, hike to the water falls fun. The snorkeling trip was just so-so 1/2 hour in the water with no fins and only the life preserver tied around the waste seemed a little odd. They fed the fish some bread, so saw lots of fish, water was nice and warm saw dolphins swimming along side of boat.

This was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. The crowd, the crew and the places we stopped by, the drinks. It was all really good, I loved it alot would would love to do it again. I went by myself, but I met other people and had a great time. Message to crew: if I see you on the streets, first round of shots is on me.
