Pay your workers

The best tour!!! I went on all the tours, Saona, Scape park, Buggy, Zipline, horseback riding. This is the best one by far!! The experience is authentic and so much fun!! Manuel and Alejandro helped us out and they were so great. My only complaint is that they don’t pay their workers. They set them up as volunteers so that all they get paid are our tips. Every one gets assigned one volunteer to assist and carry their things through the rigorous course. I did not like that as it seems the tour is abusing of their poverty. Make sure you bring cash to tip your volunteer.

Long but fun day!

Our guide Nacho was great! Very helpful and a lot of fun. The waterfall is beautiful and so is the island. The volunteers that helped with the horses were great also and went above and beyond to help. It is a long day but worth it. The steps too and from the waterfall can be challenging if you are out of shape or have medical issues so keep that in mind. Be sure to tip the helpers, drivers and most importantly your guide! They work hard to please and earn their living off of your tips! Be generous :)

Me and my husband visited the DR on our honeymoon and we both enjoyed the tour. This tour was so awesome. The best part was seeing the waterfall and riding through town. Our tour guide was awesome. However its a long tour but its worth it

long ride but lots of fun

A lot of travel, you can see most of the Dominican Republic by bus, boat, crazy bus and horseback. It was a beautiful and fun experience. Don't sit in the back of the boat if you don't want to get soaked. (only on the way back) or just keep your swimsuit on after the beach. It was a long but fulfilling day. Loved all of it.

Not worth the money

Idk what the company uses the money for, I feel like they take 99% and use only 1% for the actual excursion. Worst day of my life.

Great day adventure tour

Although the boat ride to the whale watching spot was really rough as the seas were rough that day. Very bumpy but so worth it. To see the whales (about 3-5 of them) were awesome. They put in a show for us. Flipping around showing off their bellies and blowing water through their hole. It was great. Then the horse riding was an adventure in themselves. So much fun. The meal provided at lunch was soooooo good. Samana was a great place to visit. Very good tour

Mixed feelings

I enjoyed the waterfall, I think I would have preferred to go to the beach instead of the whale watching. It was a bit to long. If you are interested in a lot of sightseeing and some hard adventure this was a great trip. It’s you are more interested in water, beach and sunshine, not so much. The people were awesome, friendly and informative about the culture, history and environment. Make sure and take lots of tip cash, bus driver boat crew, horse guide, picture people, etc etc.

Exploring El limon

This was our first time to Punta Cana , Dominican republic. We selected this excursion since it included so much in one day. We wanted to experience as much as we could on our honeymoon. We were picked up at 7am from our resort , driven to the Hard Rock resort transferred to another bus that included people from the surrounding resorts . There we met our driver Billy and tour guide Nacho . Billy made sure we all felt welcome and like family during the entire day , with his friendly and contagious laughter . We took about a 2 hour bus ride though the country side were we made a stop at the local store we're it is recommended to buy souvenirs there since the money goes directly to the locals . They will offer you deal the more you buy . When you get off the bus you are offered either a small cup of coffee, hot coco or mama juana ( a local specialty drink made either with rum or sometimes red wine). After this stop you continue until you reach a small Beach town where you take a short ferry ride to samana. During this time you are offered unlimited rum and beverages. Once the boar arrived you take a safari truck ride up the mountain. Upon your arrival you take a horse ride down the mountain guide by a tour . Along the way you get to experience the beautiful nature around you, you do have to walk down stairs to get to the waterfall . Once there there will be guys walking around with native birds you may take photos with (they have professional cameras but you can have your guide take them on your phone.) You get free time to explore the waterfall and swim. They will take photos for you but remember you will have to pay for the USB or dvd at the end . I would recommend carrying about 70-100 cash in USD if you are able for the whole day. They depend heavily on tips and are greatly appreciated, which they work hard to ear. After walking and talking your horse ride back you are offered a lunch buffet with local dishes. After taking the ride back down the mountain you board the boat to go to barcardi island which you get to relax or explore for the hour and a half. Again the boat rides offer unlimited drinks so take advantage. After the boat ride back to the other side of the island you begin your trip back . I've never seen so many grown ups passed out , it was quite a day of adventure. You still get to stop at the local shop on the way back so I'd you want to purchase anything and not want to carry it around tell them to save it for you. Note that if you are staying in punta Cana you have about a 45 minutes drive back from the meeting point . It is about a 10 hour day so tip the driver and tour guide well ! Request Nacho and Billy !! They made the trip . Overall we had a great time, the people are very welcoming and as they said enjoy your self family no one knows you here your on Vacation!!
