So much fun! The actual encounter is extremely short and consists of posing and petting the seal for pictures. There are also activities included afterwards such as the bird and sea lion show which is pretty nice. Photos cost an arm and a leg though and there is the slight moral burden of whether or not it's ethical to contribute to a practice that keeps wild animals in an enclosed environment. However, they are very well taken care of and seem to be content. The excursion is very well organized from start to finish, I just wish I had more time just to chill with the seals. It's a very rushed encounter even though no one was before or after us.
OVERALL, THE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY NICE. SWAM WITH THE FUR SEALS SINCE IT WAS ONLY 2 OF US, WE WERE ABLE TO SPEND MORE TIME WITH THEM. WE HAD AN UNDERWATER CAMERA BUT WEREN'T ALLOWED TO USE IT. WE DIDN'T BUY PICTURES 1 EXPENSIVE AND 2 THE QUALITY OF THEM WAS NOT GOOD. THE ONLY THING I WOULD CHANGE WOULD BE FOR THEM TO ALLOW US TO TAKE A CAMERA.
