We really enjoyed our 4x4 adventure that included ATV riding, cenote, coffe and cacao tasting and the trip to Macao beach. Alex, our guide, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He ensured our experience was one to remember. He ensured we did not fall into the usual tourist's traps and we enjoyed the trip at all the time.

Disclaimer: THE RIDE WAS AMAZING, but don’t fall for the pre-brief scheme. They will tell you that it is required for you to buy their gator/mask!! YOU DONT HAVE TO!!!! JUST SAY NO! Other than that...great trip Alex was an AMAZING tour guide. If you go, ask to ride with him. Experience was phenomenal. We didn’t feel rushed at the stops, the trails were great, the cave was awesome, 10/10 atv ride.

This ATV excursion was not only adventurous, but also educational. Just don't buy any MamaJuana from the first stop, because they have hijacked the price. I purchased a bottle from the airport for $15.00. The same bottle was almost $200 at the little farm. But Charlie our Guide, the photographer and the assistant was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and overly accommodating. They prepared us well on what to expect and tried to make sure we were comfortable the entire time.

Well worth the money

This activity was great! Pickup was on time and right outside our hotel. When we got there we had a quick safety briefing and then went ziplining. There are 5 or 6 ziplines over beautiful terrain. We got to try fresh coffee and chocholate and then went on to dune buggies and horse back riding. I would advise wearing clothes and shoes that you're ok getting muddy. Also would advise wearing water shoes. We stopped at a river to take a dip and I got a pretty deep cut on my foot from one of the rocks. Other than that would 100% recommend this activity

Charlie is the best!

Charlie our tour guide made our entire trip amazing from beginning to end!! He was excellent and truly went above and beyond to keep us informed about what to expect at our 3 stops (local vendors selling souvenirs, potential photo opps, etc.). Doing this, he made us feel a lot more comfortable saying no and being obligated to buy anything. If we were overwhelmed, we just needed to signal Charlie and he would brush them off so they left us alone. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better guide!

ATV adrenalin tour

All praise for the organization of the ride, the track is very interesting, full of adrenaline. Beautiful areas to ride. The only complaint is that no one apologized to us that the ATV 3x broke down (problem with the gearbox). Upon returning to the camp they gave us review papers to fill out and no one paid attention to my complaint and said at least sorry. I’ll give you 5 stars but it really wasn’t okay.

Pros: ‘Chino’. Our charismatic and Energetic guide, was great. The Cave and dive in natural pool was refreshing. The muddy ride was a different way to cool off from the Sun. Cons: Kids begging for money all along the tour. The coffee and cigar stop was not worth the time. At Macao beach I found myself bombarded by vendors. That detracted from what would other wise be a great ‘locals’ beach to enjoy.
