Beautiful but prepare to climb mountains, crawl and climb many stairs. Great views!
Loved this tour. Zip lining totally fine! Hoyl Azul OMG what an amazing experience, very spiritual !
Informative and friendly guides.
This was a excellent adventure. It was very well organized. Once we arrived we went to the reception desk, showed the voucher and were given wrist bands that listed which adventures we were going on. Then you gathered at your first trip and once everyone was gathered you set off. First, I went zip lining. We were taken to the base of the zip line where the great guys got you into your harness and all other gear, then we were given a safety demo and off we went. Overall this was a very exciting and fun adventure. There were 8 ziplines in total, some short and some long. This is a very physical adventure, requiring climbing up the mountain, walking on suspended stairs and climbing a rock wall using metal pegs that are anchored in the wall. Wear running shoes. The staff was very friendly and professional and there were numerous staff all along the course. You are not able to carry anything on this tour, you must leave your belongings in provided lockers, that are at reception. I would suggest you bring a lock otherwise you need to buy one for 5.00, which is non-refundable. After finishing we returned to the reception area and we had time for lunch before our next tour. The lunch was excellent and included salad, pasta, hamburgers, hot dogs and fries. It also included water or pop. Alcoholic beverages were available for a fee.
The next tour started at about 12:30pm. Again, well organized. Once everyone was there we set off for the Hoyo Azul Blue Hole. This too was a physical walk 1.5km through the woods with numerous stairs. But once there it was beautiful. This is a cenote with the bluest water and nice and cold, which is refreshing after the trek through the humid forest. There were a lot of people there but it was easy enough to get in and swim around. We spent about an hour there which was more than enough time.
Depending on how many adventures you take, the buses back to the hotel leave at regular scheduled times. 11:40am, 2:40pm and 5:40pm. They announce the hotel and the bus number and off you go.
They do take pictures while on each tour but the pictures and very pricey. For two adventures it was 60.00-70.00US
So much fun!
Our favorite excursion. Ziplining was a lot of fun (9 total ziplines). Some parts might not be easy for people, you have to climb/really use your legs around the mountain. We thought it made it more fun. We got great pictures there and at the Hoyo Azul, which was just naturally beautiful

My family and I really enjoyed this excursion. The view while zip lining was breathtaking. Although you see many people doing the zip line, you don't really wait in line much time. Its perfect time to enjoy the view from the top. The Hoyo Azul was my favorite part of our excursion. The only thing I've would of liked better was more time to enjoy the water of the Hoyo Azul. We had to wait a little between the zip line excursion and the hoyo azul due to others finishing up the zip line excursion so I am assuming that's why we only got about 20 minutes to enjoy the water also, there was another group coming after us. Other than that I really enjoyed this excursion and would recommend to anyone.
Amazing excursion!!!! I would do it over and over again!!! Hoyo azul was amazing water feels refresing after the small hike!!

We had such a great time. Recommended highly.
Such a cool excursion! My wife had been ziplining before in Costa Rica, and I had only been in the US before. We had such a great time. The safety briefing was quick, but thorough, and the staff was hilarious throughout. They made sure to take their jobs seriously, but also to make sure everyone was having a great time. After a longer wait at the first zipline, everything ran very smoothly. People were spread out enough so that we were not standing around for very long. In between lines, there were beautiful views and they also had water coolers if you were thirsty. The last zipline was amazing. I'm not sure the distance it covered or how fast we went but it offered a beautiful view towards Cap Cana and the coast.
After the zipline we waited about 30 minutes for the zipline crowd to wrap up before heading off to the Hoyo Azul. More than worth the wait and 20 walk through the forest. The forest opens up to a raised platform above the Hoyo Azul with two different access points to dip a toe or two into the water, and also an opening raised about ten feet above the hole to jump from. I'm proud to say that I was the first from our group to jump in! After the humid walk through the woods, the water was refreshing to say the least. It's chill took my breath away for a few seconds, but it was amazing. So clear! Our guide said that the deepest point was 75 meters straight down. Our guide allowed us one hour to enjoy the Hoyo Azul, but the novelty wore off after about 30 minutes and most people were out of the water and ready to go.
It was cool to look above at the wildlife as well. So many birds flying around with nests in the cave and at least two HUGE bee hives that my wife and I saw. Following the Hoyo Azul we walked back to the main area where we had lunch. Very basic with burgers and hot dogs. Nothing to rave about, but after a full morning of activities, welcome calories.
I would definitely do this excursion again if the opportunity presented itself and hopefully add a couple more as well!
We loved the zipline! LInes were not long at all and the adventure was great! The walk to Hoyo Azul was not bad. Make sure you take a towel or else you will freeze getting out of the water!
