What To Expect
Your half-day adventure begins with a morning, noon, or afternoon pickup from your Punta Cana hotel, when you’ll board a vehicle destined for the nearby Rancho Quad Bike. On arrival, you’ll receive a safety briefing and learn the controls of an ATV.
Once you feel confident, you’ll embark on an off-road journey through lush tropical forests and plantations. Stop to sample Dominican chocolate, coffee, and rum at a local farm before continuing to Taino Ecological Park, where you’ll have the opportunity to dip into freshwater springs.
Your tour culminates with a stop at Macao Beach, a sandy stretch surrounded by limestone cliffs, where you’ll have time to relax and shop for souvenirs.
Hotel drop-off occurs after the adventure arrives back at the quad bike office.

Shoes got muddy so wear some you don’t mind getting dirty.
Designed for families, goes at a family pace, so driving the vehicles is not all that adventurous given the pace, but still a lot of fun.
So much is included, coffee, chocolate, cave with swimming, great ATV riding and beach.

My bumpy bumpy ride

My son & I loved it. It was a great experience riding the bumper cars. It was very dusty though, had to cover up really good. I remembered "Jay" our tour leader and his friend (I can't remember his name) they were GOOD. Shout out guys... good job!!

The ATV ride was a lit of fun, but I have to warn you about the coffee and chocolate tasting. Yes, it was delicious but don’t make the same mistake as I did and get suckered into paying $20 per item. You can get some of the same items (vanilla, coffee) at gift shops for less than $10.

The guides were awesome. We got to chill on the beach, enjoy the cocoa and alcohol tasting and jumped into some deep clear water inside of a cave. My friends and I loved it

Great time! Happy Black and Jay were great! My favorite part was going to the cave even though it was packed! Also very much enjoyed sampling chocolate, cigars and mama Juana! It was awesome!

Nice beach. The kids love the ATV ride and cave jumping. The tour time was sufficient time. Able to see local people along the way.

Tour Guide was very professional, he kept everyone safe during the stops along the excursion. The cameraman definitely loved his energy we call him Mr Got It

The excursion was really awesome and our guide David was amazing! They did a really good job keeping us all together and safe at all times.
PSA though: do not buy anything at the coffee/tea/cigar tasting stop. We bought cigars that they told us were hand rolled at that farm for 85$. That ended up being a lie (they were Cuban cigars that could not be taken back to the USA) and the price was marked up times 10. We later bought same size and quantity of actual Dominican cigars at airport for 7$.

Really a fantastic experience! Picked us up at the security gate at the time they said (not on Viator) directly to us.we all got our own 4x4. Macao beach is absolutely beautiful! The guide, Jay, was great about keeping track of us when we went to the cave pool. I would do this again!!

The overall experience was nice. Katrina wanted to make us walk down to the security gate instead of picking us up at the hotel lobby at Riu República. She wouldn't answer my call or emails. I called Viator and they straighten it out cause we were going to cancel and that would have been over $1200. I spent over 2 hours dealing with that and it caused me to miss out enjoying the festivities that night on the resort.
