Long drive but tour guide made it worthwhile- educational and interesting
Fabulous sights, lunch and driver and guide
I would have liked to see the University
Being the first pick up added about an hour to our trip so that should be looked at as we did some backtracking in the drive

The guys were not wearing a uniform or t-shirt with logo, that made us leery of where this trip would take us (My friend and I, 2 girls traveling). We continied to pick people up for about 1 hr before the actual excursion started. Sandro our guide was extremely knowledgeable! It was a fun excursion!

Interesting trip. Good possibility to see real Dominican life in capital. The restaurant was not anything special. Our guide Sandro was good. The souvenir shops where we were taken were very expensive.

Great tour just be careful if buying jewelry from vendors over there its most likely not real gold. Other than that the trip was amazing and great insightful tour guides.

Had a great time with the tour guide, Sandro, and group. Sandro was very informative and candid. Stopped at La Romana for a break. Drove by the minor league baseball camps, Columbus Lighthouse, and Government buildings downtown. Walked around Los Tres Ojos, Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor, Columbus Alcazar, and Zona Colonial.

The lunch buffet was okay where they offered to a beef stew, chicken, and fish entrée. Had rice, beans, green salad, and yucca for sides.

Can skip the souvenir shop as it was a rip off. Best to keep track of the costs, bargain, and pay cash.

Be prepared spend roughly 10-12 hours for the day. Was picked up at 8am and returned around 7:30pm. Was about 3 hours both ways.
