Starfish dying and music too loud

Tour operators should be more ecologically educated and tell tour NOT to disturb starfish. Bring earplugs because music is too loud.

My boyfriend and I had the best time on this trip. The music and rum on the catamaran were phenomenal! The stop on the sandbar to play with starfish was amazing! Papí Benjamin and Grandpa Christian made everything run so smoothly. The food on the island was delicious and the beach was the most beautiful we saw in all of the Dominican Republic. Máximo took wonderful pictures of our whole day. For the price, you can’t miss this! Bring sunscreen!

We had sooooooo much fun! The hosts were so fun, kind, and animated. They made the ride to Saona Island so entertaining. The food at the island was actually pretty good and the drinks were flowing. Saona Island is so beautiful and peaceful. I would definitely do this again!

We had a good time and the tour was fun, however Covid seems like it wasn’t happening there; I didn't see no procedures for cleaning or disinfecting any time during the bus ride or boat ride. The only time than the mask was mandated was on the bus, and the line for food.

Fun but not quite what I expected

It was a fun trip to the beach and natural swimming pool. Music, dancing, and rum dominated the boat ride to the beach. I was disappointed “open bar” only included rum, Sprite, and Coke. I thought I would get rum punch and mojito but they didn’t have it. The food at the beach was delicious and plentiful. The only thing I really have to complain about was the transportation to the port. A mini van picked us up from our hotel and drop us off in front of another hotel. Where we met the guide but had to wait at least 20 minutes standing on the side of the road for the bus to pick us up. We had to watch for cars to make sure they didn’t hit us and slack off the bugs that was in the bushes where we were standing. There was no real apologies or communication as to what was taking place so it was an uncomfortable experience. It took three hours from our hotel pick up to get to the port where the boat was. Luckily we didn’t make as many stops coming back so it was only about two hours coming back. We had fun on the excursion but I didn’t appreciate standing on the side of the road waiting for the bus without being informed as to what was happening.

An excursion not to be missed, absolutely breathtaking! I was just disappointed by the dominican dancer girl onboard who approached me and asked to give amendatory five dollars per person before we even arrived.I told her that I would tip at the end of the day she said no it Has to be now because you will be coming back with someone else. I thought that was shallow.

Beautiful island and pictures

Got picked up at our hotel around 730 and got dropped off around 6. Long drive to and from but the island is so beautiful. You get 30 minutes in the swimming pool (no starfish) it's in the ocean and goes up to your chest. Rum and coke was good and after the swimming pool they had beer. Boat ride on a catermoran one way and speed boat the other way. They had photographers that took pictures (photo shoot) and honestly the pictures were amazing got over 70 pictures that we got to buy they transfer them directly to your phone with a USB. Stopped at a place to shop (over priced items) on the way back and at the port lots of locals trying to sell you things. Overall we had a great time.
