Excelente passeio, a empresa foi nos buscar no horário combinado!
This tour was my best choise, the island is beatifull, the natural pool, the food, the party on the catamaran, the staff were very friendly specialy Benjamin that is brilliant. I was an unforgetable experience, I really recomend this tour. if you ever go to Punta Cana, do it!!
Thanks guys for all.
What an experience..everyone must do this excursion its worth the day trip
This is an excellent tour for Punta Cana. Knowledgeable and entertaining Benjamin showed Saona and Higüey with the famous and beautiful church, a Cigar factory and the high class artificial Italian village of Altos de Chavon. Not enough? There was plenty more! Starfish, dancing, Rum and food. Superb
This was a wonderful trip!! Staff was lovely, helpful and fun! The island is beautiful, the water is beautiful, and warm! I enjoyed the party in the world's largest natural swimming pool... there was a great photographer there, Chuleta Fotografo. He takes great pictures, and the price was good, for the amount of photos you receive. The ride on the speedboat is fun, but the catamaran was the BEST!! Good music, good drinks definitely a day in paradise! I would take this tour again, if I return the D.R. Tanisha J.
Everything was fun. Had time to enjoy the crystal clear water, the buffet and the speed boat. We were dancing all the way on the catamaran and we stopped for a quick swim too. You should definitely experience this and Juan the photographer did an amazing job. He will take more than 50 professional pictures of you and your group and charges 50 for the CD. Must go!!!!
Amazing trip excellent guide Benjamin.
Best tour of our vacation to Bavaro.
Fun day lots of drinks on the boat and great atmosphere.
Food on Island was excellent.
Will be returning next year
Thank you Benjamin for a really good excursion.
The place is amazing! Everything was perfect!! Benjamin always courteous and helpful!! I recomend to EVERYBODY!!
My trip was actually rescheduled twice due to weather. The first time I was called, and the next day we were literally at the island ready to board the speed boat, and it was canceled. Thankfully I was able to come back the next day. My guide Dani el president is sooo much fun, and full of energy!! He is a great tour guide. The island is beautiful and the caterman ride back was sooo much fun. I loved the dancing, and the drinks kept coming!! My biggest issue is the lack of organization with picking and dropping off at the various hotels. Your company needs to be better organized, and arrange the pick up and drop off more effective. It is a waste of time, to be switching back and forth between the van, the bigger bus, moving people. Plan your day better with the transportation please. The price was a fair good price to pay! I give your company 4 stars
The stops prior to the boat ride to the island weren and #39;t necessary and quite boring. Would have rather had more time at the island or the natural swimming pool. The drink choices for the open bar were minimal. The island lunch made both my boyfriend and myself sick the following day.
Unfortunately, our experience in Saona was not as good as we expected from reading around the internet.
First, the beach's water was very cloudy.
Second, you can't walk freely through the beach. It was sliced among many companies and we couldn't walk through neighbor companies' areas, only in your own company slice around 100 or 150 meters of beach.
About this specific trip:
- The guide was a good one, but did not speak portuguese as advertised here,
- Food and drinks were really simple.
- Bad: half hour in a highway market.
- Good: around twenty minutes in an extra snorkling session in Bayahibe
- Bad: Less than three hours in Saona itself. From Viator's description, we should have around four hours there.
I can't compare with the others and more expansives trips from Punta Cana to Saona, to see if the saved money was worth it. To my family, Catalina Island seemed to be a lot better than Saona.
The island itself was very nice. The trip over was less than desirable. Passengers were herded unto a zillion boats and it was very chaotic. The snorkeling stop was a joke - you floated a few yards from the shore and were told you could get off the boat for 20 mins. Once we reached the island we were restricted to a very small area, with very little to do. The only highlight was the food, which was unusually good.
Never had the opportunity to experience the tour due to a tropical storm. Tour operator stopped communicating even after being advised we could not rebook due to departure time and date
do not recommend it. Late pick up. The boat was not safe and some people were drunk. The beach we stayed at in Saona Island was full of stones, dirt and boats. The nice part was Altos de Chavon and the swimming pool.
