Beautiful!!!! A must do! However, at the catamaran I was expecting diverse music and they were mostly playing reggaeton
Great excursion with lots of fun including music, dancing, drinking, swimming and eating. Highly recommended
This excursion was awesome!! The entertainment was fun and they made sure everyone was involved. the sail out and the speedboat return was great. Visiting Saona Island was beautiful..just didn't like walking through the forest to get to the beach..lengthy walk. The lunch provided was very good and tasty. Visiting the island with the star fish was also great. Long tour exactly 10 hours but extremely fun, not a dull moment!
We had a great time, but I had better food. Not impressed by the food.
This excursion would have gotten 5 stars but the driver ruined it. He was catering to a pretty customer and forgot others were on the tour. He stopped because she wanted to eat after the tour and made people wait for her. Overall, beautiful sights great fun worth it! This is a must do!
The island is beautifull, totally recommend to visit it.
However, the journey to the island was far too long more than 2 hours on the bus, 30 mins 'break' at the 'mall' and another 2 hours on the boat, which shortened the stay on the island to 2h 30 mins instead of promissed 4 hours.
Island was pretty but not much difference from the resort. Enjoyed the speed boat over and stopping in the shallow area with the starfish. We had a good photographer and bought the pictures. The bad side was the island was plagued by bees everywhere. It was scarry...I would not drink any cola products because they would swarm it. On the way back on the catamaran, it was a booze cruise which was not a surprise but did notice some male staff getting out of hand and seeing some customers looking very uncomfortable. My adult children noticed the crew partaking in a few lines of a powdery white substance while on the island.
Saona Island is awesome
Food - 2
Tourist Guide 2 - we were the first ones to arrive to the Catamarans and we were the last to depart to Saona.
Paid a cheap fare. Got a cheap boat, cheap lunch. Did not take pictures. Embarrassing buffet! Coke, what a joke! Pepsi, not even close... cheap is cheap!! Get what you've paid... Regrettably, its too late now! The Catamaran is not as nice as the picture... Docking a boat is not a grasp of a concept. It needs everything! Since docks, to proper buffet equipment!

This was a full day of mostly travel by boats and bus. Saona Island stop at the beach was rocky upon entering water and not enough places to sit as several excursions ended up at same location. Toilets were awful. The food was nothing to write home about, but our biggest complaint was the 2 buses to get to the boat location..bus 1 took us to several roadside stops to pick up locals. Then a speedboat from beach to Saona Island. Upon departure it was speedboat to another larger power boat offshore to original boat departure location where we offloaded from larger boat to smaller boat then to beach departure location. No piers or docks on this excursion. The transfers from boat to boat were somewhat dangerous. No sailing catamaran as pictured was used on this excursion.// Would not do this excursion again.
