hoyo azul with family
Brian_B, Aug 2022
loved it and favorite excursion by far - a ton to do, ziplining was great, hoyo azul incredible. kids had a lot of fun too ...not too crowded probably since its pricey[but worth it!]
Great day once you are at the park. Transportation is very sub-par.
Richard_M, Jun 2022
Zip lines are the best part of the experience whether it’s the whole course or the zip lines into the water. They were fun and you felt safe. There is a lot of walking and even more steps and inclines no matter where you go in the park. It’s an exhausting but very fun day. The 3 stars is because of the transportation to and from the resort. They claim you have a 5 minute leeway, yet they were 10 minutes late themselves. We were the first stop at 3 resorts which resulted in over an hour trip. On the way back we were the last let off, adding another 25 minutes to the trip. Additionally, the buses they use are equipped to seat someone under 5’8” or so. As a guy at 6’2” it was an incredibly uncomfortable and long.

Highlight of our vacation!
Leo_T, Aug 2022
Good - Wet zip lines awesome. We lost 2 glasses here. Worker dived multiple times & found both! Take off glasses before plunge. Cave pool & platform jump were also fun. $13 meal is ok. Yummy salad. Dry zip lines are a blast! Lost my Fitbit, security guard turned it in! Lots of walking & stairs but not too bad. All wore water socks. We had small luggage lock to save the $5 storage charge. Bad - Hotel was 1st pickup & last drop off. Makes for a longer day. If you only do 1 excursion, Scape Park is it!!!

Rip off with the photo package...5 people charged but only 3 in the actual photos due to disabilities.
Rough terrain, poor communication
May_N, Jun 2022
This place was not good for a family With young kids. Lots of really tough terrain, hiking and walking. Poor communication about what to expect and overall an existing experience
Fantastic day out
rhiannon_g, Aug 2022
We (2 adults and 8yr old) had a great time here, loved the zip lines especially the water ones! Lots to do and see, it is alot of walking but all well worth it, very well organised. Pick up and drop off no problems at all.
Fun LONG day
LoriLoperfito, Jun 2022
Amazing day but very long. Lots of things to do here and the kids (21yr olds 😂) had fun. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes for all the walking on small pebbles to reach each different excursion.

Action and adventure.
Richard_D, Jul 2022
Great day out but lots of walking. The caves, lagoons and activities are of course worth it. But be advised you’ll sleep well when you get home! Top tip, take towels and water shoes unless you’re happy to drip dry on your trainers.
Exciting, adventurous
Amber_G, Jul 2022
So much fun! Definitely a must do when visiting the area. Side note, this park is huge and very rocky bring sneakers and water shoes!
Great Time for Active Couples or Families
Raymond_D, Jun 2022
We had a great time! A couple of things you should know before you go. The park is massive and there is a lot of walking. WEAR COMFORTABLE WATER SHOES! The Zip line was awesome, but you need to be good physical shape - it involves a lot of hiking up the side of a mountain.
Nice park
mariah_T, Jun 2022
It was a nice experience, the park is very big. Make sure you bring watershoes and some cash. The tour guid will just drop you off and picks you up at 5

It was okay. Beautiful water in the bule hole and cave (though very little room to swim around) and the cave walk was nice (but fast). But where all the reviews mention a lot of walking, they fail to mention STAIRS. We guestimate we walked approx 7 or 8 miles with a quarter of that going up or down stairs. We were EXHAUSTED and sooo sore. There was also a mixup on the return transport, but after a side-of-the road hop from a bus to a van, we got back to the resort around the expected time.

Great family day
Tony_H, Jul 2022
We had a blast and loved everything that was offered. Just a heads up, we walked over 9 miles why we were there. You really need to be in decent shape for lots of inclines. The zip line was great, there is one area you have to crawl through and another you have to literally climb up a rock wall. Just want everyone to know what to expect.

Beautiful cenote- the highlight of our trip!
Cindy_W, Aug 2022
Beautiful! Really recommend getting there when the park opens & going straight to hoyo azul as we had it to ourselves for awhile and the sunlight was shining through it so it was so clear. We went back later in the day and the experience wasn’t as good as was busier and lack of sunlight due to it being in a cave. Definitely bring water shoes as was a lot of walking! Didn’t love the bat cave tour as was a lot of hiking to get there and then a 20 minute tour inside and saw two bats. Otherwise it was beautiful & great fun. Definitely recommend having a spare change of clothes and if wanting to do the zip lines then do that earlier as there’s a lot of walking so you will lose energy. But a fantastic day overall!
Very open and beautiful...
Erin_H, Jul 2022

One worth doing
Barrie_M, Jul 2022
The Hoyo Azul Scape Park was awesome in general. Being able to not only see these natural wonders but also play in them was awesome. It's definitely a good excursion for anyone who likes adventure. Be sure you like to hike and be active though as it's a workout.
Cecilia_H, Jul 2022
The nature was amazing and it was so many fun things to do. We loved the caves, swimming in the water and the zip lines.

Sadly, we didn’t have...
Lacey_W, Jun 2022
Sadly, we didn’t have that great of an experience. The buggy ride was exceptional however we paid for our pictures and never received them. Tried multiple times to contact them and have yet to hear anything back. We arrived early in the morning and the excursions were decent. We were ready to go in a couple of hours but leaving early wasn’t an option.

Beautiful swims in caves and waterfalls
Coley_T, May 2022
Lots of things to do. Very beautiful natural pools and waterfalls to swim in. Bring water shoes and a water proof bag for your phone so you don't have to buy them there. Lots of walking. Lots of stairs. The different caves and pools are 750-850 yards apart. But nice tropical walks.
