Half-Day Trip to Purchase Chocolates and Copper Art---Skip
Trisha_S, Jan 2025
You'll see the falls and the shrine, but only after you've spent around 2 hours being driven to a chocolate shop and a copper art gallery where the tour operators and the store proprietors all hope you'll buy something. By the time the tour operator actually took us to Montmorency Falls, which I had been looking forward to, it was the last stop and we were about 10 minutes away from losing the light for the day. In addition, the tour itself wasn't particularly interesting, which was surprising considering how old and full of history Quebec is. There are many tours to the falls and the shrine. Unless you want to buy chocolates and copper art and don't want to drive yourself to do it, don't book this one.
Dissapointed 100 %

We arrived to late to the falls and dont see all included your description. We are disappointed with this tour
Worth every penny!
Ashley_O, Dec 2024
We loved this tour! It was so nice not having to worry about driving to the different areas. I feel like we could have used less time at Montmorency Falls and more time at the Basilica. Also, the copper art stop was fantastic! It’s something you wouldn’t necessarily think about seeing on your own but was probably the highlight of the trip!
Nice day but a little disappointed
Emma_R, Dec 2024
This is advertised as a trip to Montmorency Falls but you only get 20 minutes there and we arrived after the falls had closed. No time for the cable car or walking across the bridge at the top. This should have been the 1st stop with much more time not 20 mins on the way home!
Great experience we went...
Christopher_E, Dec 2024
Great experience we went to four different locations and the tour guide and driver were very friendly and knowledgeable.
Not worth the time or money
Esther_P, Dec 2024
the trip to the falls was great but this tour should not be title just that....you spend more time NOT at the falls as you do there. You only spend 30 min there which is not enough time to go up the gondola to the top, which should be a no brainer to a trip to waterfalls. The lower walking area is really cool though with great photo opportunities. The trip to Ste. Anne's was good, the church has quite the history and is really spectacular. The trip to the chocolate shop was worthless and the stop at the copper museum was an interesting story of the family but essentially was there to sell their products. Beautiful work but if you took the 1 hr plus travel and added it to the falls and it would have been a spectacular trip and would give this 5 stars. Daniel did a nice job as our guide. Would not recommend this trip - rent a car and drive to the falls and it would be less expensive and gives you enough time to actually enjoy it.
Waterfall? More like Waterfail…
Brian_C, Dec 2024
Trip started 1/2 hour late. Sat in the bus waiting for 40 minutes because the tour guide told a couple earlier the wrong start time. The tour is billed as a tour of a waterfall. I know they pad these tours with shops but this was ridiculous. We went to a copper sculpture place. Saw a 5 minute demonstration and then wandered around the shop just looking at merchandise. Spent 40 minutes there. We then went to a big church. Did a run through with a bit of commentary. Had 40 minutes there. Place had a big gift shop. Went to a chocolate shop that had about a 20 person occupancy but the entire tour went in and crammed themselves inside. We were supposed to be there for 20 minutes. However we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for the people making purchases. We finally get to the waterfall. The reason we took the trip. It’s dark. Also we only have 20 minutes. The online description says that you get 45 minutes there because we left late and had to get a bunch of chocolate we got 20 minutes there. Enough time to walk out and snap a single photo of the thing that has top billing and what we booked the trip for. Total waste of time. This was a local commerce tour. Go on it if you like copper trinkets, boring Catholic Churches, and waiting a long time to buy chocolate.
Beautiful

It started snowing. I live in South Florida, It made the day extra special! The experience was made even more special .
Nice bus tour excursion
Gina_K, Dec 2024
The tour was nice although I would have preferred more time at St. Anne de Beaupre and skipping the copper shop. The tour guide was pleasant and knowledgeable.
Worth it
Janice_B, Dec 2024
Half day is just right for me. Guides are fluent in French, English, and Spanish. Stops at Isle Orleans, St Anne’s Church, and waterfalls.
Very interesting
Rich, Dec 2024
Ste-Anne Cathedral was amazing along with the detailed visit to the copper factory. The chocolate store visit could of been eliminated however.
Not bad
Carol_M, Dec 2024
Guide was lovely but he should really not be criticizing Americans as there was a lot on the tour and they were not impressed
A ride places
Ryan_I, Dec 2024
This was nothing more than a ride to and from locations . The “tour guide” was a miserable bus driver who honestly did say some informative things but also did nothing more then the bare minimum. We sat in the front 2 seats the whole ride and passengers would say hello or try and make small talk and this guy just looked at them. He was such a curmudgeon it almost made things more enjoyable and this is fine for my wife and I we look at these tours as nothing more than transportation and we will shoot you a tip as a thanks at the end. This is the first time… ever we have been on 100’s of tours that we didn’t tip. Like I said it’ll get you to and from places and maybe it was just an off day for this guy but i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone who wants a tour
Make sure you eat before...
Gary_I, Dec 2024
Make sure you eat before you take the 12:30pm trip as there are no stops for food. Church is wonderful but could have use an additional 15 minutes there.
It was a fun trip. Even...
Bingji_W, Dec 2024
It was a fun trip. Even though we were late for meeting up with the bus, the guide and bus driver were there for us. They are very nice and friendly.
Delightful
Julia_J, Dec 2024
I forget the name of our guide, but he was excellent, knowledgeable & extremely amusing. The bus was a little too warm, but that is my only complaint. Our driver was also most pleasant & helpful. It was a very pleasant tour with the illuminated falls being the grand finale. Highly recommend!
St Anne's Miracle Cathedal
elizabethrando, Nov 2024
4 1/2 hrs - well run - informed tour guide made it interesting Chocolate shop interesting lots of people buying chocolate
Great wag to experience some fun attractions!
Loren_M, Nov 2024
Very nice visit to the falls, church, chocolate shop and copper artist. Spent the right amount of time at each place, and he did an excellent job of narrating while driving the bus. A great way to visit some popular attractions. The chocolate shop is fantastic.
Awesome
Lorraine_F, Nov 2024
The Basilica was beyond words. So beautiful. Surprisingly was very interested in the copper mine talk and tour. The creativity of some Canadians is overwhelming. And then who can say no to chocolate. The falls would have been more enjoyed if weather cooperated bout still something nice to see. Daniel the tour guy informative and funny. Trip relaxing and comfortable.
Beautiful Basilica with lovely artisan add-ons
Michael_D, Nov 2024
The Basilica of Saint Anne is stunning. The structure itself and the art inside is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the artisan copper shop and the chocolatier. Gary , our driver/guide was very informative and entertaining while doing a great and safe job driving the bus. The weather didn’t sympathize but overall a very nice experience.
