When visiting Québec City, get to know the neighboring countryside and Montmorency Falls on this small-group bike tour. Enjoy a relaxing 16-mile (25-kilometer) ride from Old Québec's bike-friendly Lower Town district to Montmorency Falls and take a cable car ride to the top of the falls provides an exceptional view of the roaring water. Also, pedal to a city park, and Domaine de Maizerets, a well-preserved historic estate. Cable car ride plus bike, helmet, water bottle, and snacks are included.
  • Guided bike tour to Montmorency Falls from Old Quebec
  • Ride an easy 16 miles of mostly flat terrain and on bicycle-friendly paths
  • Take a cable car to the top of the cliff and capture stunning waterfall views
  • Visit Domaine de Maizerets, a popular urban park, and see Beauport Bay during the bike ride
  • Learn about Quebec City’s history from a knowledgeable guide
  • Numbers are limited to 15 people on this small-group tour, ensuring personalized attention
Meet the tour guide and group at a bike shop in Old Québec City’s Lower Town district. After getting fitted for a bike and helmet, listen to a brief safety orientation before beginning the ride to Montmorency Falls. This relaxing trip covers 16 miles (25 kilometers) on mostly flat terrain.

Pedal along the northern outskirts of the city, over the picturesque Saint-Charles River and along the Corridor du Littoral, a two-way bicycle-only lane.

Stop at Domaine de Maizerets, a popular urban park with walking trails, wildlife and an arboretum that has been recognized as one of Québec's 20 most beautiful gardens. Locals visit for family outings, concerts and bird-watching, plus walking, running or riding along the pedestrian- and bicycle-friendly paths.

Next, explore the bike route along the Saint Lawrence River, with a view of windsurfers and bird-watchers along Beauport Bay.

Upon arrival at Montmorency Falls, leave the bike at the base of the waterfall and hop aboard a cable car for a ride to the top and a breathtaking view. At 272 feet (83 meters), Montmorency Falls is an impressive 100 feet (30 meters) higher than iconic Niagara Falls.

Along the way, learn about the history of Québec City and the surrounding countryside.

The ride ends with a return trip to Old Québec City.

I definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to enjoy a beautiful half day in QC! The pace was nice and leisurely so it would be appropriate for any level of biker.

You have the perfect words to describe the pace of this tour. It is flat all the way and our guides will always adapt themselves to their group. We hope to make everyone feel included! Also, since the tour finishes at one o’clock, that leaves you plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your day. Kind regards, Émilie P. from the great team of Cyclo Services!

This was my favourite experience so far in Quebec City! Denis, the guide, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating and the falls were impressive! Highly recommended!

We are really glad that we are now part of your great memories of Québec City! Denis is a fantastic guide and we do have an amazing team of tour guides and staff. The Falls are pretty impressive to see and going there on bike makes it an even better experience. Hope to see you again, maybe on one of our other tours, like the Lower Town or Upper Town! Take care, Émilie P. from the amazing family of Cyclo Services!
Excellent Experience

This ride was all that I hoped it would be. Wanted soemthing that gave us some exercise while being able to experience the area. This isn’t a city tour but more of a bikerid through Quebect City with the final destination being the Falls. Phil was an excellent guide.
Brilliant way to spend the morning!

Absolutely loved this 4 hour tour - easy bike ride to the falls, only a small group of us (4 people), great weather and Gui was a great tour guide! Thank you so much.
Bike ride to the falls

The ride was nice. The only problem was if you were in the back of the pack and have a problem nobody can hear you call for assistance. A way to communicate would be nice
Great time

We had an awesome time even though Quebec City was experiencing a heat wave. The guide (Guy) was professional, fun and knowledgeable. Really appreciated the small group tour verses trying to travel with a big group. Good bikes and totally worth the price. Would do it again!
Definitely worth it.

This was a great trip. The biking was very easy. Definitely go in the morning if you can as the afternoon gets really crowded at the falls. Raymond our guide was awesome.
Entertaining and Informative

I took this ride primarily to become familiar with the bike path system in Quebec City. The tour group size was small - five clients in all, which was nice. Our guide Guy was most considerate and accommodating, and provided a wealth of historical information along the way. The tour was a winner in every respect.
