The tour company can do better by using numbers listed on the tour guide for stops, rather than say the French titles and French landmarks. Reading a new language takes more time and effort as compared to the speed of a native speaker. And since this tour is meant for foreigners/visitors not natives. I think this review is important to better serve customers.
Over all quebec is a smaller city, if i have to do this again, i will work around the city center/downtown and interact with locals, i will not do the city hop on hop off bus !!
I use a walker to help me walk and was worried about getting around in Quebec City. This tour allowed me to travel in comfort and see all the main attractions the city has to offer. The driver was exceptional and I would recommend this tour to anyone
This tour was the first thing we did when we got to Quebec City. It was a great way to get a overview of the city so we could plan where we wanted to go. Our driver was funny and informative especially at the La Citadelle.
We haf never bern to Quebec before, so decided to book the hop on hop off and it didn't disappoint. Buses were clean, comentary was via earplugs & in 10 different languages. The sights were amazing snd the information provided was superb.
I realise a large number of people from the cruise ship (of which I was one took this tour. We all were starting the tour at the same place. The bus was overcrowded and people were standing downstairs for the whole of the tour. Therefore you could not see out. The audio at my seat was not working. So it was a waste of time and money to take this tour.
Two hour tour was very good but busy times can mean a long wait. 60 min wait plus 2 hour tour did not allow us to use the hop on/off feature. It was worth it though to see all of the tourist areas for an overview. Buses clean, employees nice/efficient, and tour very complete. Just bad luck to hit the busiest weekend time. We did see empty buses as our vacation progressed and recommend M to F use if possible.
We departed the cruise ship to look for the place to start our tour. Finally found a place to hop on (third drop off area. Was told not any places below and would have to go up top. Was very blustery and misty, so we trudge on to the 1st get on area (Saint Anne Street). Was disappointed still could not sit below, but got on up top. Could not understand driver over the speakers up top. Earbuds used up top for the tour worked ok. Was very cold up top so got off at stop 8. Other than being so cold, tour was ok
