Very informative tour. Great way to learn about history and culture of Quebec.
Tour enjoyment seems heavily dependent upon the tour guide and we had the BEST - Mike O'Farrell. He's true gem, full of historic and non-historic tales. He's engaging, thoughtful and funny. We had booked this tour for day 3 of our 5 day Quebec adventure and I was planning to be disappointed. After 3 days in Quebec you have really seen most of it. Completely wrong. Although Mike took us places we had seen already, he livened up the tour with his wit and humor. He loves Quebec and history. Great guide and person. Thank you Mike.
I took this tour in October 2015. Excellent tour!!! Our tour guide was wonderful and had a whole notebook full of additional pictures and maps that she shared with us. It was a great tour and a great history lesson!
Yes, the trip was wonderful. Even though the weather was cold, rainy, and windy. But we were dressed for it so hit the ground running and saw everything we intended to see. Loved the history, language, food, people, architecture - all were wonderful. I'll be back!
Great and informative tour of the upper and lower Quebec cities. Jean was a local so he knew all the history and his English was superb. Strongly recommend.
Great tour! Our guide, Mike, gave us the layout of Old Quebec with so much insight into the history and important sights. He was funny and always willing to answer questions. He was excellent and really seemed to love his role as tour guide.
I would take this tour again and recommend it to other first-time visitors to Quebec.
Our guide, Simon, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Tour was a great way to learn more about Quebec City. Highly recommend.
The tour started on time and our guide was excellent. Timing and pace of walking tour exceeded expectations.
Denise was well-informed. I don't think anyone of our group of 16 max allowed asked a question she didn't know the answer to. Great introduction to get your bearings for further exploration on your own. She recommended the Chocon Dingue for lunch in the lower town and we were very pleased with the experience.
We had a FABULOUS walking tour with Marie!! She was very well informed and entertaining. She kept us on schedule but was very receptive to questions and gave us good recommendations to see some of the places in more detail on our own. So happy that it included both the Upper and Lower Town. This tour is a must!
This was a great tour and the perfect way to start my visit to Quebec City and be oriented in the City. I was on my own and the tour group was small and so friendly. Mike was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, explaining the history and pointing out places, I otherwise may have missed. His English and French is excellent - so no problem understanding. I was able to return to sites to take a closer look and to obtain more information later since he had told us about these places on the tour - such as Church of the Holy Trinity. One such place was the Musee du Forte. Mike spoke about the film presentation. I returned to watch it and I was so impressed. It was so well done with the interacting model and film. I wish I had gone back a second time. I highly recommend this walking tour
Our guide, Clarisse, had a phenomenal amount of knowledge regarding the history, architecture, culture and other areas. Truly an outstanding guide and a worthwhile tour.
The guide was very informative, fun, connectable and proud of her city.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the tour very much.
This was a wonderful tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly he made the tour very enjoyable.
Quebec City is a lovely city with beautiful and scenic views, in addition to its' history.
The tour starts at the Tourism Headquarters. I might recommend looking at the map before using Google maps to find your way walking there, you may be able to take many shortcuts you can also take a funicular ride to get there. The tour starts at the top of the city and ends at the bottom.
There is moderate walking involved with this tour. Please bring your own water, there are no pit stops or potty breaks. Also, note that restrooms are available in the Tourism Hq, but can be quite crowded as a lot of tours originate from there.
You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck. The tour guide truly enjoyed his job and was not going through the motions.
Very good tour! Really got to know the history behind Queebec and also have us a general knowledge of where we wanted to explore later on our own. Much better than the tour offered by our cruise ship in the quality and price! 12 in our group vs 30 in their and #39;s.
Excellent! A very knowledgeable guide, Denise, gave us an extensive history of the city! Enjoyed it very much.
This tour was well worth our money. Our guide, Robert, spoke wonderful English and took is to places that we would have never found ourselves. The streets are uneven but I never felt that it was a hard walk. Just seeing St. Ursiline lying in state was trip worthy! Wonderful tour, very classy.
The tour was awesome, great way to orient yourself to be history of Quebec City. Simon was a great guider with excellent recommendations and knowledge
This was an informative and fun tour. Jocelyn knew her stuff and was able to tell fun stories and answer our questions.
Micheal was very nice and very informative. Learned a great deal about the history of Old Quebec.
Louise was an excellent informative guide with a beat sense of history and humour. The only addition might be a scheduled washroom break.
This was an excellent way to begin a two-day vacation in Quebec City. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. I came away with a good perspective on the city and what to do there.
