Jacque was terrific. He told us about all of the history not only of Quebec, but how it affected the United States during the Revolutionary War. We toured the whole old city for 3 and a half hours. It was supposed to be only two hours, but not only were we hungry to learn, he was so interested and proud of his city that he wanted us to take it all in...and we did. Superb!
This tour was well worth the time and money even on a day with temps well below zero!. Our guide, Clarisse, was so friendly, knowledgeable and informative! She answered all of our questions and shared some fun tidbits about Quebec City.
Clarisse was very knowledgeable and pleasant. It was a very cold and windy day and she made sure we were able to go in and out of places to warm up, while still sharing her history and love of Quebec City. I came away with a new sense of respect and interest of Quebec City. Job well done! Definitely a must do..
Reasonably priced walking tour is a good value the local guides are knowledgeable and informative.

Very informative tour, which was just at the right pace. The tour guide also provided a little bit of humour in her narrative.
The city tour was very informative and the travel guide was amazing! He shared historical stories with us throughout the trip and it was very useful. Although it was a bit cold because it's winter, it was nice because of a smaller group.
Clarisse was our guide and she was great. She lives in the immediate area and clearly is both knowledgeable about the history as well as pleased to share it with visitors. The tour nicely covers the core of the upper and lower sections of Old Quebec finishing at the foot of the funicular not included which is a nice way back to the top. If you get Clarisse, be sure to ask her about her flag collection.
We took this tour with Simon as our guide, very informative and friendly. He extended the tour to a little over three hours as there was much information, but made it enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgable, encouraged questions from our group and made food recommendations of area restaurants. The walking tour is definitely a must-do to learn about Quebec City's history and landmarks.
Jaques was a very thorough guide the tour was longer and more detailed than expected. We really enjoyed it!
This tour was very informative, lots of sights and even more walking,it was great
An excellent way to learn more about Quebec City! Thoroughly enjoyed this tour!
The tour was well worth the time. The Guide was excellent and gave a quick informative overview of the cities interesting sites, and history.
If you are meeting the tour from a cruise ship, be sure to get instructions on how to get to the upper city where the tour starts.
Fantastic tour, highly recommended. Our guild was terrific, she gave us a overview of the history and architecture of the city that was fun and interesting.
The tour was very easy and not rushed. The guide was very good. A lady in her late fifties who was from there. She knew a lot about Quebec. Over all a great experience. At the end she recommended a couple of restaurants to us all. We tried one, it was just as she said.
The tour left from the Tourist Information Office in the center of the Old Town. Our guide, Francois, was very knowledgeable and presented the material in an interesting way--challenging us to determine what was a fact and what was a story. We learned a lot about the history of Quebec and New France as well as much about the architecture of the city. Excellent tour and great introduction to our exploration of the city!
Outstanding tour and tour guide. I had visited Quebec City in 2002 and remembered very little without having taken a tour. This tour is a bargain and well worth the time.
Robert made Quebec City come alive and was thorough in providing history in a very interesting way. Small group of 10 people provided ample time for questions and answers. Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was wonderful. He knew shared a lot of information with us and kept the tour interesting.

The guide was fabulous, the only problem is it's over 3 hours - we could not stay for entire tour due to prior appointment. Wish we had known to allow more time
Excellent guide. Gave us great tips and also added some flavor from Louise Penny's Insp. Gamache books. Would highly recommend this tour.
Excellent lots of history and lighthearted banter with British visitors! Excellent and enjoyable
Our guide, Judith, was very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. The tour started in the Upper part of the city and after exploring a large part of the historic sites we went down the stairs to the Lower part. It ended near the Funicular so you could ride back to the top of if you wanted to.
We feel this is a great way to see the sights and hear about the history of Quebec City. The guides of walking tours are so passionate about their city it is a pleasure to listen to them.
The tour was heavy on history, which was just what we wanted. Our guide Judith was a hoot, with wry observations on both old and new practices in Quebec. She made a real effort to know her audience and often injected location-oriented comments to individuals.
