What You Can Expect

Horseback Riding Tour from Manuel Antonio

See Costa Rica like no one else!

Meet your guide at your hotel in the Manuel Antonio or Quepos area prior to your morning or afternoon departure time. Drive roughly 40 minutes through the countryside to the town of Londres, learning about the history of the Quepo people and the presence of the United Fruit Company in the area as you go.

Upon arriving at the stable, attend a safety and instructional briefing before beginning your adventure. Start to ride through the rain forest, learning about local flora and fauna along the way, and stop to swim and relax at a waterfall. See Costa Rica’s famed biodiversity in a relatively undisturbed area that is difficult to access by car or foot.

At the end of your ride, eat a typical Costa Rican lunch back at the stable before getting dropped off at your hotel.

Please note: A minimum of two people per booking is required.

Michael our guide and Bon Bon our driver where some of the best guides we have ever come across , As it turned out my wife and I were the only two on this tour on this particular day. One small piece of advice , this was real horse riding and not just clip clopping up a well ridden path, we walked , cantered and galloped. We rode for two hours with all the different levels of rain forest, bird and animals being explained as we rode , arriving at a wonderful waterfall where we took a break, the water level being a little low in the dry season to swim. We then returned back to the stable's where we then took a short drive to the tour companies office/compound for a wonderful authentic lunch.
