We had a fabulous afternoon visiting various producers and sights as well the opportunity to sample and buy the products. Our host Suzanne was first class. She switched seamlessly between languages and really knew her stuff. Very entertaining with a great balance of humour and imparting knowledge.

There were only 3 of us on this tour. Suzanne is a very very knowledgeable guide and was able to answer all the difficult questions thrown to her. Love the visit to Champagne Salmon. Very educational!

Xavier was the perfect tour guide - fun and informative , we didn’t know how much work went into making Champagne! The tour was so much more than we expected - you get to travel through the fantastic French countryside in between the champagne houses and of course the champagne was perfect too !

Théo was a very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. The complexities of the champagne making process was well explained by him and one of the wine growers. The drive through champagne country was vivid with fall colours and enchanting vistas.

This was an excellent tour and just the right amount of time - not too long or too short. I learned a lot about the Champagne-making process and can choose more wisely next time I buy a bottle.

This was a really lovely tour through Champagne Country and two "small" champagne houses (we learned that means they produce under 100k bottles/year). Theo was a great guide and very fun, I would highly recommend doing this tour! I didn't do a bunch of research before my trip to Reims but had booked this in advance and was very glad I did, it was a memorable experience for sure!
Perfect Afternoon in Champagne
Amanda_S, Sep 2022
Theo was a great tour guide for our afternoon in Champagne. He is very passionate about champagne himself which made the experience even better. We went to Michel Tixier which is a small family owned champagne house and met Michel Tixier himself! It was a very intimate experience and learned so much from the Tixier family. We also went to Salmon champagne house which was still small, but not as intimate as Tixier. It was nice to see the differences between the two. Theo also stopped for us to see a Dom Perignon statue as well as a beautiful photo op overlooking the vineyards! And he got us back to Reims train station with enough time to make the last train back to Paris. There also is a lot to do in Reims, so we arrived in the morning and spent the morning touring the area before the tour. Would definitely recommend!

Fun, interesting and knowledgable.

Our tour guide Martin made the whole experience even more fun and full of laughter. Very professional and knowledgable. Answered all the questions we needed to know about Champagne. From the start of the tour visiting the first winery, learning the process of making Champagne and even sampling the goods. To visiting the church were the man himself the god creator of Champagne 'Dom Pierre Perignon' was burried. Learning about towns history. Then made our way to the Champagne vineyards with the view to die for! It was just breathtaking! Even get to taste the different types of grapes. After taking few photos we then proceeded to the second winery. Once again learning more about the process and sampling more of the local goods. Towards the end we drove around a town where the big brand names offices headquarters are located. After the 'magnifique' experience we headed back and our tour guide Martin made sure we had plenty of time to catch our last train back to Paris. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone and having Martin as our tour guide made everything worth it. Thank you Martin!
