The Blue Lagoon part is amazing and worth every cent however the Northern Lights are overated. No-one tells you before you go that you cannot see the lights properly with the naked eye, you have to have a very good camera which can capture the lights and only then can you see the true colours. The cruise itself though is a very good experience and is a much better way of seeing the lights than by bus for doing it by bus means you have to hop off and on and you risk not seeing the lights as they may not remain on for more than a few seconds.

Northern Lights was disappointing as we only saw a faint trail. IT was extremely cold and the cruise was crowded. Not much variety of food to purchase mostly coffee, tea and alcohol and some snacks. It gets the 3 rating because I met a lovely couple and we passed the time talking.

Blue Lagoon was enjoyable and relaxing. Note: tour does not include entry into the blue lagoon, entry costs around 35 euros and sells out quick so I recommend pre-booking online - the bus ride is 1 hour I suggest booking a 2pm entry into blue lagoon.
We were not picked up at the advised time so our hotel contacted the tour operators and advised the tour time had been changed to 1pm not the advertised 12pm my recommendation is to contact the tour operators in the morning and confirm the pick up time, otherwise you will be standing in the cold for over an hour.

The cruise was comfortable way to hunt for northern lights. Unfortunately we did not see them on our cruise this was not the tour operators fault, we were just unlucky the lights did not come out that night. Cruise operators provide snow overalls so you don't get cold, and hot beverages, alcohol and snacks can be purchased onboard.
