Airport pick up will be restricted for now due to current border and entry regulations. Please refer to covid.is for more information. We pick up from all hotels/guesthouse/apartments/ports in Reykjavik. Due to local regulations, certain hotels/guesthouse/apartments do not allow for lobby pick-up. Guests will have to go to the nearest bus stop for the pick-up. Please note that pick-up starts 90 minutes before ticket time. Please kindly note that pick-up from Keflavik International Airport starting from the 1st of June 2022 is only available at 07:30, 09:30, 12:30 and 16:30. Also pick-up from Blue Lagoon to Keflavik International Airport starting from the 1st of June 2022 is only availabe for 12:00, 14:30 and 16:00. The minimum age for using the Blue Lagoon is two years old. This is because children younger than two are highly sensitive to the water's elevated mineral content. Children aged 8 and younger must wear floaties. These are available at the entrance to the lagoon and can be used free of charge. Children under 2 are welcome in the facility but the parent has to take turns sitting with the child outside of the water.

We advise you to not bring jewlery in the lagoon as it might get damaged from the elevated mineral content.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Amazing time and LOVED the Lava Cafe’

Loved everything about it! Favorites were the face masks and the Lava Cafe! Make a reservation to eat lunch!!! It was terrific and the staff were so amazing! Best meal in Iceland!

The whole trip was well organised. Blue Lagoon was a fabulous experience so relaxing. When we got back to the coach station, the mini bus was full, which left us without a ride. The mark of a company is how they deal with problems. Within 5 minutes we were on our own mini bus straight to our hotel. Staff and drivers were very friendly and helpful. Definitely would book with them again.

Two trips Cancelled

And the only reason the Blue Lagoon tour was cancelled was due to very bad weather conditions that caused road closures. Expensive tour but it was great. Transfer was good (most of the transfers in Reykjavik are a bit all over the place). Blue lagoon was so good. We got the premium package so we got robes (waste of time), 3 facemasks, and a drink included. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

Pick up from our bus stop location was prompt and easy. The drive to the blue lagoon was very smooth despite a snowstorm 2 days earlier! The blue lagoon itself is stunning and I would recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland - once in a lifetime opportunity!

No pick up

Our bus did not pick us up. Said no one was there, but we saw each and every bus that came and showed them our ticket and was told wrong bus. We had to pay for a taxi to the Lagoon. We were told we would be refunded some of our money, but we weren't.

Dear Tinycia, As previously discussed, you missed every transfer because you did not show your actual ticket to the driver. In order to be embarked on a bus, you have to show the ticket! Even if you did not comply to the requirements and the ticket was 100% non-refundable at the time, as an act of good will, we still agreed to refund you the cost of the transfer, but the refund can take up to 5-7 working days to process. Hope you had an amazing time at the Blue Lagoon.

What an incredible out of this world experience. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone they have to go. We booked all our trips through Viator, so quick and easy, stress free with many trips and payment options to suit. Blue lagoon is one of the wonders of the world is definitely worth the day visiting. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the lagoon is perfect you almost can’t believe where you are. The mid facial is a fun added extra, and having a drink at the bar just adds to the relaxation.

Wonderful experience - more than a spa experience

This was truly a unique experience a thermal bath in blue water! The pool is outdoors - so we could see steam rising from the water while soaking in the lagoon. It felt like we were in a dream! We signed up for transportation and admission in one package and they allowed us to stay and return to our hotel on a later bus. Everything ran smoothly - and the staff was helpful in providing information on the procedures.

Be careful, The transport is almost as expensive as the experience themself. Try to drive by car, there are free Parking places over there. Other friends of mine got tickets for the same price including transfer for free. In general do not recommend using viator. We got two Tickets with Viator. The snowmobile was canceled but they wanted to book the money from my account and the Lagoon was double the price.

However it is normal that prices might differ according to various transportation options: maybe self-driving can be cheaper, but this is not always the most suitable choice for everyone visiting Iceland. Using the shuttle bus or even the private transfer is a stress free choice and for most of the travellers the shuttle bus is an affordable option to get to the Blue Lagoon.
