The most amazing experience. I can't recommend this trip highly enough. It is quite a long journey but it passes so quickly and the glacial lagoon is well worth traveling for. This particular company were brilliant, the guide was really knowledgeable and very helpful. His stories and tour given on the bus journey were really interesting and helped pass the time. The two stops at waterfalls on the way are also brilliant and help break up the journey.
Of all the places we visited in Iceland, including the blue lagoon, golden circle tour etc, this was by far the best and was the highlight of our trip. Every person in our group was in agreement about that.
Make sure you take lots of warm clothing as it can very cold at the lagoon. Gloves, hats, warm coats and scarves are a must. I would recommend taking a change of clothing as Icelandic weather can be very unpredictable and if you get soaked by the rain etc. it is a long bus journey home feeling cold.
Another good tip is to sit on the left hand side of the bus as you get to see the best of the scenery on the way out. On the way back it is dark so it doesn't matter!
Also, take a good camera as the scenery is breathtaking!

Totally worth it. Prospect of being inside the bus for over 8/9 hours but there are so much to see on the way you will not be too phased by the duration of the journey. I am so glad I took this trip instead of the ones that goes as far as the south coast.

The waterfalls and the lagoon are sights to behold. The sceneries along the way are simply majestic and mysterious. Sufficient time was given for us to explore and admire every attraction. Our guide provided a lot of information and history about Iceland, which I truly appreciate. On our way back, we were lucky to see the Northern lights and our kind tour guide and driver tried hard to find a suitable stop for us to snap some pictures. This is the most memorable trip I've had so far.

More beautiful that I can imagine! it's a long trip but, you can see a very beautiful views on the way. Many glaciers, the mountains and troll faces :D ON YOUR WAY BACK! The Glacier Lagoon is amazing, you can walk around the lagoon and see sea lions. In front of it, there are the Diamond Beach, I mean, big pieces of ice on black sand and an amazing sunset. We had the opportunity to watched the moon and the sun at the same time, but we could not film it because the cellphone died when it was too cold. And yes, It was too cold, we were on winter.

This is a long day, but you get to see parts of Iceland which take your breath away. The tour guide 'roc' was very informative about the history of Iceland and its people. We had regular stops along the way so the trip did not seem so long. There is wi-fi on the bus which also helps! The weather when we went was very windy and icy so I was glad to be on a bus rather than driving. November days are short -6hrs- and we packed alot into the hours of daylight we had. Highly recommend the trip.
