Great full day out tour from Reykjavik visiting lots of interesting sights in the weird and ever changing volcanic landscape. We arrived by cruise ship to the port a few kms from the centre about 10 to 12 people form our ship in total and were picked up promptly on the day by the coach we stayed in all day - which was very modern and comfortable. A previous review suggests they don't pick up from here but we had emailed the company beforehand and they assured us they did emailing back in English perfectly. Excellent, knowledgeable English speaking guide and local driver. As recommended by the guide the lamb soup at the waterfall is very tasty but not cheap and more like a stew than a soup. Good amount of time at each stop and most but not all had bathroom facilities. Some charge 200 KR to use but you can pay with your card in the shop and get a token if you don't have Icelandic coins. Really good introduction to this area and a well worth while trip that was good value for money.

Great way to see these highlights of Iceland particularly those who do not rent a car and go it alone.
Tour guide was knowledgeable but not so easy to follow as his voice was a bit of a monotone. The sites were spectacular...amazing to see the continental divide of the Asian and the Atlantic tectonic plates.
Well worth the time.

A great day tour that I would highly recommend.

Both the tour guide and driver were very friendly, plenty of room on the bus and plenty of stops at regular intervals.

Great tour that promised all that it was written up to be. This was a great value and hit all the highlights one can see in a day. Great alternative to expensive cruiseship tour doing the same itinerary.

Enjoyed the sights and seeing the Gulfoss waterfalls and Geysir. I also loved the Icelandic ponies we could pet and play with at the end. Great tour guide history teacher who was very knowledgeable and funny.

Wonderful experience. The tour guide and the driver were funny and entertaining. It was a rainy day but they made it very special. The locations you visit are awesome: 5-6 stops and plenty of time to walk, take pictures, drink/eat, buy souvenirs, explore the area... You travel with GLand that means quality. They even changed the bus when it was not 100. This is one of the Top things to do in the South: waterfalls, gyesers, vulcano, tecnonic plate, church, horses...

Gulfoss waterfall, Thingvellir and panoramic views of Nesjavellir power plant were great.
Geysir and Strokkur hot springs were good but not as great as the hot springs and geysers at Yellowstone National Park, USA.

This tour was amazing!! We got to see so many beautiful sights along the Golden Circle of Iceland and our tour guide, Kristina, was amazing. Because our hotel wasn't close to Grey Line's main bus terminal, we got picked up at hour hotel by a shuttle bus and brought to the main terminal. From there we drove about 40 minutes to a beautiful lookout that showed us a gorgeous lake and walked around for about 15 minutes to take pictures. Then the bus took us to the site of Iceland's original parliament about 30 minutes on the bus, now a UNESCO heritage location. Kristina took us on a walk around the area and told us the history of the region and of Iceland's different regions. From there, we drove to Gullfloss about an hour drive, the largest waterfall in Europe. We had about 75 minutes to walk around the waterfall, get lunch and check out their gift shop. The pictures we got of the warterfall are amazing! Then we took a short drive to see a collection of geysers, and had about 50 minutes there to look at the geysers and also to get a snack and look at the gift shop. Our next stop was about a 25 minute drive to a beautiful church overlooking fields and streams, and then we drove another 25 minutes to an Icelandic horse farm. That was so much fun! The horses were so cute and the farm had a little bar where we got some Icelandic beers and had a snack. It was about an hour drive from the horse farm back to Reykjavik. Although it was a long time on the bus, we got to see gorgeous locations and Kristina kept the bus rides entertaining with lots of stories about Icelandic history and culture. I definitely recommend this trip, its a great price for all that you get so see!

Excellent tour. Christina the guide was really good. Only minor comment is that an extra 30 minutes at Gullfloss Waterfall would be good but I am a waterfall fan.

The terrain is fascinating with crevices everywhere. Iceland is indeed beautiful in a wild way. This was an all day tour so it was travel intensive and we were on the move in order to crame so much in. As we were on a cruise it was the only way to do it.

Our driver Lillia and guide Kristin were fantastic. They kept us on schedule and provided us with interesting information. Plenty of time at each location to take in all of the beauty. Time well spent!

Great way to get a flavor of all Iceland has to offer. Only downside was that the wifi on the bus didn't work.
