Althought we had a rainy/snowy cloudy day, the trip was still great. They gave us plenty of time at each stop. Our guide, Rock can't pronounce his real name was great. He gave us a lot of background and information not only on the places we visited, but also on Icelandic life in general. I'd highly recomment this trip.

Awesome, awesome tour. Although the bus doesn't have a toilet, we stopped at regular intervals for bathroom breaks and snacks. The stops at the waterfalls and geysers were all well organized and we had more than enough time to walk around, take and pose for pictures. Our guide was also fantastic and personable, at each stop he would hang out with us, engage us in conversation and offer to take photos so all of our pictures weren't selfies. When we spotted wild horses in a field, he found a place to pull over and pulled out a bag of bread that we used to feed the horses. This is the benefit of taking Viator tours, they are mindful of the schedule/itinerary but also want to give you an authentic and pleasant experience. There were other Grand Golden Circle tour operators offering the same stops, some people at our hotel took them and I was glad I didn't --they ended up on large 60 passenger buses whereas we were on a small bus with a very small group. Additionally, whenever we stopped at the sights, because our bus was small we were able to get closer to the sites for parking or drop so we didn't waste time at each stop walking to the attraction.

If you only do one trip in Iceland this is the one!!! Not sure if it was luck, but the coach was extremely comfortable, which for the amount of time you spend on there is very handy. Our guide for the day was Artis, who was brilliant! Very knowledgeable, funny, and very good English. The sights of Iceland are breathtaking, the landscape and beauty of the county is something to behold. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone that goes to Iceland. Don't forget a warm hat, it can get very cold at the waterfall!!
