Really enjoyable tour to see must see sites when you are in Reykjavik for only a few days.
Awesome, awesome tour. Although the bus doesn't have a toilet, we stopped at regular intervals for bathroom breaks and snacks. The stops at the waterfalls and geysers were all well organized and we had more than enough time to walk around, take and pose for pictures. Our guide was also fantastic and personable, at each stop he would hang out with us, engage us in conversation and offer to take photos so all of our pictures weren't selfies. When we spotted wild horses in a field, he found a place to pull over and pulled out a bag of bread that we used to feed the horses. This is the benefit of taking Viator tours, they are mindful of the schedule/itinerary but also want to give you an authentic and pleasant experience. There were other Grand Golden Circle tour operators offering the same stops, some people at our hotel took them and I was glad I didn't --they ended up on large 60 passenger buses whereas we were on a small bus with a very small group. Additionally, whenever we stopped at the sights, because our bus was small we were able to get closer to the sites for parking or drop so we didn't waste time at each stop walking to the attraction.
Our your guide was great. We learned so much about the history and culture of Iceland. How their unique language came about. Plus all the wonderful sights. Great tour
If you only do one trip in Iceland this is the one!!! Not sure if it was luck, but the coach was extremely comfortable, which for the amount of time you spend on there is very handy. Our guide for the day was Artis, who was brilliant! Very knowledgeable, funny, and very good English. The sights of Iceland are breathtaking, the landscape and beauty of the county is something to behold. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone that goes to Iceland. Don't forget a warm hat, it can get very cold at the waterfall!!
Great tour with loads to see! The tour guide was knowledgable and always open for any questions. It's worth the money.
Amazing, cool but very pretty with the snow everywhere. Great start to see Iceland but need to see more!
We booked this tour as we wanted to see as much as we could in our few days in Iceland and were so glad we did. It was amazing...from the landscape to the different locations it was one of the best tours we've done. The bus picks you up promptly outside your hotel or at the designated bus stop and does a few pick ups along the way. Our guide was called Orn...and he was excellent, funny and welcoming. We stopped at the various spots and had plenty of time to take photos, get something to eat and souvenirs. It was a busy trip but relaxing also and very well organised. All we can say is this tour is a must, it shows Iceland in all its glory, absolutely stunning. From 8.00am to approx. 5.00pm it is worth every penny. Treat yourselves!
Tour was amazing guide was so good she made it fun. Bus was good to if your tall bit more room than most.
One of the best days you will have, and best excursions going. Good from start to finish. No.1 in iceland!

This company, BusTravel Iceland, did a fabulous job with this tour. In researching the popular and many Golden Circle tours available, we loved the vibe and fresh approach that this company offered. We were not disappointed. The tour guide was excellent and and very knowledgeable.
The waterfalls were beautiful. The tectonic plates and crater were interesting. Geysir was nice, but don't expect it to be Old Faithful in Yellowstone. The lamb we had for lunch was really good. The guide was very nice. Sorry, we've forgotten her name.
This was a fantastic day. We had an excellent and passionate guide. The small group allowed more personal interaction and we were not hassled by large bus numbers. Highly recommended.
This is an amazing tour. Especially impressive is the Gullfoss waterfall. Word of caution, though, to those walking down to the waterfall the trip back up is very strenuous - take it slowly!
Best tour ever with Bustravel, Collected from and dropped off to where we were staying great when its early morning ,The tour was fantastic we saw so much on our tour,Waterfalls crators and a great walk through the national park,
This was an outstanding tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable: she offered plenty of information about all sorts of demographic, geographical, and historical information -- both in her own presentations and in response to our numerous questions. She was very helpful in assisting a couple of members of the tour whose tour the following day had to be cancelled because of a terrible storm on the eastern side of Iceland: she answered their questions and guided them through what they needed to do to get a refund or arrange for an alternative tour. When the weather turned out to be difficult at a couple of our designated stops, she and the bus driver arranged for an additional stop to visit a functioning Icelandic farm, and we got to see sheep and Icelandic horses there. The bus/van was very comfortable, the stops at the various sites allowed us to see them well and experience them, and the arrangements for lunchtime allowed us to eat without being rushed. The sites were amazing -- indescribable, indeed. We are delighted we took this tour.
