amazing! we went with bustravel iceland tour company, they cancelled on the first day due to bad weather conditions but let us book straight away for the following day- no hassles made from calling just check before you go if the weather looks bad. the guide was brilliant she was very friendly and informative throughout the whole day. got to see all the sites which were so picturesque. highly recommend

We both really enjoyed the day and I was apprehensive about risking a whole day in the hands of a tour guide. The bus picked us up on time, we swapped to a larger bus and this way they collected everyone quickly and our tour guide was excellent for the day. Not only did he talk about the sites and passing towns, but also gave us an insight into social, historical, lifestyle, political, economic and cultural life - we found it very interesting, enjoyed the unexpected guided walk in the national park and also did our own thing as we hopped off and on the bus at 5 points of the tour. There were enough food cafe or burger/chips type menu and toilet stops, the bus had wifi and was very confortable which is important as you get tired rocking away on the drive. I suggest you sit on the right side on the bus for the mountain side view later on and you will need coins or a credit card for the main waterfall's toilets but not a problem at the Geysir. We had a very grey day of about 5C, so I bet it would be even more beautiful on a sunny day. Waterproof and windproof warm clothes were sensible as the open areas were very cold in the wind. We crammed in everything on the list, kept the pace up but there was enough time to see and enjoy everything and every signt was breathtaking - especially the Gulfoss waterfall for the sheer scale and beauty. We were dropped back near our hotel at the end. Well worth it and hope our tour tomorrow with the same company is just as good.

Picked up from hotel make sure you are at waiting point at the time they tell you, picked up other passengers at the Bus Station then on our way. Very good driver and tour guide with sense of humour and a lot of local and interesting knowledge. Stops were just right for comfort and sight seeing. Drove through majestic snow topped mountains as the morning slowly got lighter. Lots of lovely places of interest to stop, wander, take photographs etc. We were always told time to be back at coach so the day was very well organised. I cannot pick a highlight as every stop was so interesting. The scenery is dramatic and beautiful and the natural wonders of Iceland are something special. Worth every penny not expensive at all. Make sure you do take waterproofs. At the Geyser walk to the far side for the best photograph shots. It goes off every 5 mins or so and the crowd disperses so you can always get a good photo. What more can I say ..... enjoy.

It was lovely and the tour guides were very helpful especially when my mum and I got lost trying to find the meeting point at the BSI Bus Terminal. I was able to take some wonderful photos of the sites during the tour. I highly recommend seeing Gulfoss and Geysir.

Great sightseeings, comfortable bus and the guide Bogi I hope have writen it rigHT was great. The weather didn't help us and one of the Gullfoss platforms was closed, and the wind was so strong that Strokkur couldn't get so high as in the main picture so we couldn't get the full experience. Nevertheless it was a great experience. I want to take everybody I know there

My favourite day of our entire visit despite bad weather. Our guide was amazing and we learned so much about not only the sights we stopped at but also the Icelandic people. We even had a bonus stop that wasn and #39;t on the tour. Despite 8 hours of rain, we had a blast

This was such a great tour! Bogi, our guide, was so knowledgeable, and it was great to see so many sights without worrying about navigating or driving on ice. Plus, there's no way we could have looked up even a quarter of what Bogi told us en route. Absolutely recommend!

We had an amazing our guide. She was able to tell us about the sights on the tour and lots of information about Iceland itself. We went in 'off season' so there was lots of room on the bus as it is a long day's tour and we napped on the initial journey out and the last bit back.
This is a must do for Iceland!! The geyser was amazing.
Do take snacks as there is only one place to get food at mid-day. The soup is the main lunch food - fast and warm for the masses in a limited time stop.

Amazing trip, a must do on a visit to Iceland!! We did spend a considerable amount of time on the bus, going from one stop to the next, which can't be helped. However, my fiancé and I found the travelling very enjoyable as the landscape is just breathtaking. Our tour guide Frosti was also first class, he was a fountain of knowledge and great fun, he kept us entertained with his facts and stories about Iceland and even sang us a little song - he really made the trip.
