Whale watching Brilliant saw 5 minki whales unfortunatley didnt get to do the northern lights part of the tour as it was rough sea or cloudy all the time we were there.
Really good tour especially as the tour guides were extremely informative. Even though we did not see any wildlife on our whale watching tour, I would still rate this trip 5 star due to the fact that it is not the company's fault that the whales did not come out to play but they have offered us an open expiration for another tour if we go back to Iceland. It was a nice day trip and evening trip especially as we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights!

This tour company has a great reputation with the local community of Reykjavik and #34;old harbor and #34; and it shows in the quality and professionalism throughout the entire crew. Easy to find, great guide that is well educated and no matter where you wandered on all decks you could hear him perfectly. AWESOME
Fantastic, the tour company was great to work with. I will definitely use them again.
The day we went to view the Whales we only saw a few but received passes that do not expire in we go back to Iceland. The Northern lights were fabulous. Would highly recommend.
Really good northern lights tour, lucky to see them sue to activish and clear skies. Good smooth sail on both. Unfortunately not able to see whales/dolphins - but company did offer another trip free of charge was our last day so couldn't capitalise. Very good tour guides/speakers. Entertainment was a bit novel on northern lights tour, and speaker system not so great on whale watching tour. Definitely worth the money though.
fortunate enough to see the lights on our tour and was a great night out on the water
The crew was great, informative and patient. I absolutely loved it!
Theses were 2 different trips on the same day. The whale watching was great - we saw porpoise and dolphins and followed them around the bay. The Northern Lights was led by a guy who was very boring, had little information and we felt although we saw the Northern Lights - it was a poor experience
We didn't see any whales and all members of my party vomited. Felt like 3.5 hours of torture.
They said we could go again but there was no way we were getting back on that boat! We had been warned of rough waters but the trip should have just been cancelled so that we could get a refund.
We chose a cruise to search for northern lights and were rewarded. Unfortunately this looks much better on photographs then in reality. However, considering that other coach trips were cancelled on that night due to bad weather we were quite pleased.
I booked a two part cruise that included whale watching during the day, getting dropped off at your hotel and Northern Lights tour later in the night. The whale watching was ok but the boat was very small for the amount of people onboard, not many places to stand without others surrounding you. Despite waiting in my hotel lobby, in the same way I did for the day tour, nobody came and collected me for the night Northern Lights tour.
Failed to pick us up from our hotel, despite us telephoning the tour operator and telling us they were running late but re-confirmed our booking. On the second telephone call we were told the cruise had already left and implied it was our fault. We would have seen the lights if they had collected us. Visiting the tour operator the following morning we rearranged, but were given another explanation implicating Viator. We were picked up on the second attempt but cloud cover meant no lights could be seen.
