Super cool activity. My kids could not believe that I actually did this with them. We crawled, we sat in absolute darkness. Loved that the group picked us up from the hotel. Made it super convenient and fun.

Loved this tour! It was slightly more challenging than the previous reviews suggest in my opinion. There was a little bit more squeezing through tight spaces and crawling than I expected. Lenas was an excellent guide and made me feel very safe. He gave us the option to not persist with the 2nd half of the cave, which involved more crawling and small spaces than the first half. It was really interesting seeing Iceland from below! However, I wouldn't recommend this one if you have back or knee problems or if you're claustrophobic or afraid of the dark! We really enjoyed it :

Our guide Jonas has made this tour interesting and informative. We did it on our last day in Reykjavik and it turned out to be a remarkable experience. The tour is suitable for everyone as long as no physical accessibility challenge. I joined this tour with my dad and we both enjoyed it very much.

Took this on my first day, as I had arrived earlier in the morning. Good way to stay awake. The entrance to the cave was not what I expected, basically we had to crawl through an opening in the snow to get down into the cave. It had that Indiana Jones feel to it, which made it that much more fun for me. The cave was very interesting and our guide provided a lot of information about the formation of the caves, how many there are in Iceland and he pointed out many very interesting features during the tour. A great time!

Fantastic tour, can't recommend it enough. Our guide Jonas was great at what he does. I do think we got pretty lucky, having a small group of fairly well matched abilities that meant we were able to make the most of it. I'm not sure how well I would have done in a larger group

The tour was GREAT! Gilli our guide was informative, it was very interactive and with a small group did not feel left out at all. Upon my return to Iceland, I will definitely do this tour again!!!!

We did this tour the day we landed. It's a good way to fight jet lag! Very knowledgeable guide (Oskar?), the cave is a bit slippery but worth going into. It is a lava tube so the stalagmites and stalactites are smaller than in a typical cave, but at least during the winter there are some nice ice stalactites and stalagmites which are very pretty. It was lower in height than I expected. I have been in lava caves in the Galapagos which were huge and easy to stand up in, this one requires crouching and crawling, but is worth it.

This trip wasn't quite what I expected but I did still enjoy it. The caves are incredibly old and have great history, but some of the stalactites and stalagmites have been destroyed by tourists that want to take more than they should home with them. It involved a bit more effort to climb around in the tight spaces than expected, but that is a part I did enjoy. I just wasn't as WOWED by it as I have been my other tours.

This was a quick and fun trip although it didn't WOW me like some of the others. The caves are very old and offer a lot of insight into some of Iceland's early lava flows, however many of the stalactites and stalagmites have been destroyed by tourists who wanted to take more than they should home with them.

There was no lava. The cave was small in diameter, so a back pack was difficult to carry in the cave. Most of the walking was done with the back bent and was somewhat difficult.
