This tour was the best! Virtually a private tour of the golden circle and other stops that the regular tour guides would not have stopped at. Sven was great; added a lot of educational information, great with my son, we saw the Icelandic ponies and 3 other places. Highly recommended, by far the best

This tour was incredible! Having a small group of 10 made it intimate and easy to travel with everyone. We got to see sights we did not expect and our tour guide, Sveinbjorn, was so knowledgable and charismatic. This was by far our favorite and most eventful day in Iceland!

This tour was amazing! Sven was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to adjust as our group needed. We wanted to stay ahead of the big busses and were able to do so without missing anything. Additional stops were added to see things we wanted. This is probably the best deal in Iceland. Other than seeing the northern lights, this was the best part of our trip. Thank you Sven!!!

An absolutely fantastic tour. Definitely better than expected. Sven was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and kind. We saw everything that was booked via the tour and more. Iceland has an incredible history that we would never have learned if it wasn't for this tour. A definite must.

Sveinbjorn, our guide and owner of the company for the day was friendly, knowledgable and obviously proud to live in Iceland. There were just four of us on the tour and our early start meant we got to each destination before the large coaches which made it so much more enjoyable. The tour included places that the larger tour company's do not offer, we even stopped on the side of the road to feed the Icelandic horses on the drive back to Reykjavik. I loved their fluffy ears!! From the volcanic crater, to the meeting of the tectonic plates to the beautiful little church in Icelands first town, the Strokkur geyser, Thingvellir National Park and Gullfoss waterfall it was truly an amazing day and we learnt so much about Iceland, the people, the history and the landscape. Sveinbjorn is a superb guide and I would highly recommend this tour which was excellent value for money. The mini bus was very luxurious as well.

This tour exceeded my expectations. We mainly booked it to see the Waterfall and Geyser however Sveinbjorn, our guide, really went out of his way to show us unique and wonderful parts of the Icelandic terrain. We walked inside an inactive volcano, stroked wild horses and learnt some interesting history!

They were on time turned up in a very jazzy brand new bus with USB ports at each seat. The guide was so knowledgeable and gave us fun facts all the way round. The tour was meant to last 7 hours but with all the extras lasted about 9!! Wouldn and #39;t book with anyone else!!!

We were picked up outside our hotel promptly at 8.30 am. The driver and tour guide was very friendly and greeted everyone like an old friends! We saw the triple sights on the tour including a rainbow over Gullfoss! Then we went a bit off piste and visited a church with a Viking graveyard, it has a rather macabre history but you'll have to go on this's tour to find out! We had a fantastic day made all the more special as everyone on board sang Happy Birthday to me. I would unhesitatingly go on this tour again. We were picked up in the dark Dec 5 and brought back to the hotel in the dark, the day light does not stay long and the sun just skims the horizon, adding to the fun.

Superb trip with an excellent guide, Ari. The mini bus tour is more personal and often beats the crowds to places. Additional stops can be made.

We really enjoyed out trip. Our driver Sven was very knowledgeable and told us lots of interesting information about the attractions and Iceland in general. Being on a mini bus, I believe, was better than being on a large coach. We were picked up form our hotel rather than having to go to the main bus terminus to get on a coach.

After getting wet through the efficient heating on the mini bus dried us off. The on board free Wi-Fi was a bonus.

We highly recommend this tour - the guide Sveinbjörn was enthusiastic and engaging, adding in extra stops of interest. The scenery was breathtaking and showcased Iceland in a fantastic way. We enjoyed being on a small minibus rather than a large coach and highly rated the tour.

Sveinbjorn provided a whirlwind tour through the geography, culture, traditions and history of Iceland. Because we traveled by mini-bus, we made it to the major sites before the big buses did. This meant we had better access and, with time remaining, Sveinbjorn took us to additional sites, and provided us with their background and history.

When we return, we will use his services again.

This was truly a small group tour. We consider ourselves very lucky to have worked with this new tour operator as it meant we got a personal tour which included the 'big tourist' go to locations as well as a number of 'hidden gems' -- Iceland has a lot of these. The authentic Icelandic lunch was also very much appreciated. We had the opportunity to discuss the various elements of the meal with the proprietor which also added value for us.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable. The vehicle was quite comfortable. His English was easily understood as well.

With the larger tours there is a certain amount of 'time overhead' -- loading and unloading passengers, finding 'trailers' and group herding -- that's not the fault of the larger group tour operators, rather it is simply the 'nature of the beast' as it were. That is one of the reason the 'hidden gems' in this tour remain hidden gems as the amount of time taken for 'crowd control' reduces the available actual tour time.

Similarly, lunch with a large group can be quite a chore with much time spent in lines and the like.

All in all, we loved this tour and would highly recommend this tour and operator in the future.

Only 6 of us on the minibus so very personal tour the only thing I would have changed would to have had less time at the site of the oldest town in Iceland and more time at the geyser it was extremely windy and we didn't have time to go round the whole site
Also when we went to see the place of the first parliament we weren't told that further up the path was where the European and North American tectonic plates meet so we didn't see these a little disappointed

We saw all the advertised attractions for the tour but little else. Our tour guide/driver who goes by Thor was basically stuck to the bus
and offered minimal guidance as to where to best view the attraction or what special things to look for.
All four of us were somewhat underwhelmed and a bit disappointed when we returned to the hotel less than seven hours into it.

IT WAS HORRIBLE AS THE DRIVER DROVE OFF WITHOUT US AT THE GEYSERS. WE HAD NO WAY OF CONTACTING ANYONE IN THE MIDDLE OF NO WHERE. ULTIMATELY A DRIVER FROM ANOTHER COMPANY CAME TO OUR RESCUE AND TOLD US THAT IN HIS 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE ON THE CIRCUIT HE HAD NEVER COME ACROSS THIS AND THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS UTTERLY IRRESPONSIBLE. AN AWEFUL EXPERIENCE IN A STRANGE LAND!!
