Marvellous day out visiting the Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall, and the Geysir, finishing with a relaxing dip in the Secret Lagoon. Best aspects were the very dramatic Gullfoss waterfall and the Secret Lagoon, but everything enhanced by our guide host with his in depth knowledge and humorous delivery.
Bjorn was fantastic. Very informative, funny, personable. Nice trip with lots of freedom to ask questions and move around at sites. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent guide named Trond , really enjoyed the day - thank you
This tour was a great way to fit in the major sites of the Golden Circle in one day. Our tour guide was very good and provided lots of fun facts about the country. Most of the small group tours I have done are 6-8 people so it is good to know that this tour is a small group of 15-18 or so people. The larger tours you see on the similar route are large 40 buses.
Tour on 25/10/16 was an amazing experience and a great way to spend my 30th birthday! Gulfoss and Geysír lived up to expectations, Þingvellir was awesome and being able to walk down between the continental plates was amazing. Highlight for me was the Secret Lagoon stop - spending an hour or so bathing in warm water whilst getting snowed on was almost spiritual! I would recommend this smaller group option as having a guide on hand to elaborate, explain and enlighten made the trip even more interesting.
Our guide Andrés was full of knowledge about geology, politics, history, culture, language and even horses. Truly excellent experience and would happily revisit to experience it all over again!
A long day tour but well worth going on. Iceing on the cake was the secret lagoon at end of tour
I love traveling in smaller groups like this one. We had a great time and our guide, Andres, was very informative and you can tell he is very passionate about his company. I don't remember any of the names from our other tours, but I remember him! From the beginning he told us many historical stories and folklore and even some jokes here and there. I would definitely recommend this for anyone! I was only a little disappointed that on our visit to the thermal areas, that we didn't try a bite of bread that was baking in the earth. That would've been a cool addition to the day! I also highly recommend this tour because of the Secret Lagoon visit. I think this was my most favorite location in all of Iceland because it's so much more natural and scenic than the Blue Lagoon. Truly amazing experience! Thank you, Andres!
Really great trip. My only recommendation is to stay a little longer are each site. Overall amazing experience
went on tour with AndrewA ( hope i got his name right) and hes not only funny, but very informative. It was a bit sad the weather wasnt great, but its a new experience. So glad I choose to travel with small groups, esp. in secret lagoon- it didnt get too crowded or anything. perfect experience.
Perfect day, great tour guide. Everything was as described and our tour guide was very professional and liked sharing his experience with the group. Thank you!
