This tour was incredible- super enthusiastic and fun instructor, he kept things simple and straightforward. We were well equipped with all the gear that we needed and the crew made sure we were all securely strapped in. The view was out of this world as we slowly made our way through the fissure, taking photos and videos underwater I brought a waterproof go-pro camera, highly recommend. I liked that the entire tour was JUST long enough to soak in all the beautiful views without completely freezing our bottoms off.

If there's one snorkeling or scuba tour to do- it's definitely this one!

This excursion was unbelievably amazing. There are no words to articulate the unfiltered beauty of the crystal clear lake.

The guides were very thorough with their instructions and explanations. They were very serious about making sure that our dry suits were good fits and were well secured. And they had great senses of humor. 2 thumbs up to the hilarious Jack, Tina and the entire amazing team of guides.

The idea of hopping into a freezing 34 degree lake may give anyone reason to pause. Rest assure the dry suits do a great job of keep you warm in the water. Your exposed lips may feel painfully cold for a few minutes, but the feeling goes away within a few minutes of being in the water and you immediately start to enjoy the stunning site underwater.

I highly recommend this tour company and this excursion!

A truly unique Iceland adventure and one of the highlights of our trip! The most challenging part is getting into the drysuit but once you are in the water you are glad they took the time to make the suit water tight. We were not cold at all the water was actually refreshing since it was a warm day.

The only issue we had was meeting the tour at the Info Center in the park as we were not coming from Reykjavik. Just plan ahead and you will be fine, the meeting points are fairly accurate but it would be nice if the site had a map instead of just coordinates. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and the experience was great!

This was one of the highlights of our trip! It does take a little long to get into your dry suit, but it is certainly worth it. There isn't a whole lot see when you snorkel in terms of fish or plants, but the experience is really a once in a lifetime kind of thing. Our instructors were super helpful and friendly.
