  • Guided day trip of Iceland's south coast from Reykjavik
  • See waterfalls and the volcanic Vestmannaeyjar Islands.
  • Learn about the sights from your guide and touchscreen audio, available in 10 languages
  • Free Wifi and USB charger available on board your coach
Meet your tour coach at Reykjavik Terminal in the morning to embark on your tour of Iceland's North Atlantic coast. Find your seat and enjoy onboard WiFi, USB charging ports at each seat, and an audio guide available in 10 languages.

Take off along the North Atlantic coast and into the volcanoes and lava fields in Hengill. Arrive in the rolling farmland of the southern coastline, with views of the Hekla Volcano on sunny days. Catch a glimpse of the Eyjafjalljökull Volcano and the glaciers on its slopes, as well as the jagged, volcanic Vestmannaeyjar Islands punctuating the ocean that lies beyond.

Make your initial stop at the Seljalandsfoss Waterfall, a 196-foot (60-meter) cascade, which you can skirt on foot due to its hidden posterior pathway. Continue to the Skógafoss Waterfall; climb a short flight of stairs to the top to see one of the country's best lookout points.

At Sólheimajökull Glacier, break out your camera for fantastic photos of the otherworldly ice fields. Next, walk on the dark landscape of Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, watching the ocean crash up against the jagged basalt sea stacks and columns.

Return to Reykjavik Terminal in comfort where your tour will end.

Bad planning. Was already completely dark by the time we reached the last waterfall which made it dangerous since it was wet and slippery

Well worth the price for the amount of sights you get to see. Weather was rainy and cloudy but sights were beautiful nonetheless.

Stunning tour. The host was nice, however, the enforcement of time keeping was very poor. People on the bus were continually late coming back and the host did little to change this. We had previously done a GC tour the day before and they were excellent by comparison. The tour running late was impacting other tours we had planned for the evening time. We voiced this to the host who was initially quiet nice about it but then she got irritated. She called us and a few others in the same predicament 'impatient'. Whilst I understand the drop off process is long and they do the best they can, I felt all this could be avoided if the host had managed the timings of the day properly!

Fantastic tour. For being such a long day, my boyfriend and I agreed that it went very smoothly, thanks to our tour guide -- he was informative without overdoing it. He also made sure we had enough time at each place. The glaciers, black sand beaches, and waterfalls were amazing. It was easily one of the best days of our life.

The tour was arranged by Green Smart. The guide, Addi, was good and kind, a good entertainer with his singing as well. He was active and walked together with us at each spot. The spots were also fantastic. Like best the Black Sand Beach and Skogafoss waterfall. Wished we have more time at these spot (1 hr instead of 45 min).

Great tour with an excellent guide. We got lucky with sunny weather in the mid 50's. Could not have asked for better.

Very interesting trip, a lot of interesting places, very good guide. I recommend it to everyone who wants to discover south part of Iceland. It's really beautiful!

Wonderful trip, even though 11 hours is daunting we had a great time. Did not feel rushed, had enough time to spend at each attraction and photos. Although lunch is not included, it does make a 1 hour lunch stop. Guide was witty, knowledgeable, you even get free wi-fi on the bus although don't recommend going on device at all during the tour. Each turn of the bus opens up a beautiful scene in your view, should fully enjoy the ride. Walking behind the waterfall is a must if your body is comfortable, it's a lot of fun. keep an umbrealla on you because it can start drizzling in Iceland any time. Black sand beaches are beutiful.

One tip: Even though it gives you GPS driven audio device that you listen to and then a live guide fills in the rest of the info,, they do not provide headphone set. You have to buy it for 1000 Krona which is 10 USD. I am glad we had enough headphone sets in our drawstring backpack for all 4 of us.

Great tour! We waited outside in a chilly Icelandic morning the full 30 minutes and then some before getting picked up by a mini-bus, which later took us to the tour bus that took us on the tour. Once we were on the tour bus, everything went well. We saw a lot in a day. The audio guide was great! Black beach was amazing. South coast is a must-do for a visit to Iceland

What a beautiful day this was. Stopped for plenty of time at all the sights, even made an extra stop since we had the time and weather was good. Also stopped to try to see the northern lights, no success but the effort was appreciated.
